About the Author

Shelley Adams gained her training and love for food while cooking for the movie business in Vancouver, BC. After moving to the Kootenays in 1985 she became the co-owner of the Whitewater Ski Resort where she was the creative director and chef for the Fresh Tracks Café. Her successful first book, Whitewater Cooks – Pure, Simple and Real Creations from The Fresh Tracks Café, led to the development of her second book, Whitewater Cooks at Home. Now retired from the ski hill industry, Shelley is the author of three bestselling cookbooks, including her most recent bestseller, Whitewater Cooks with Friends released in Oct 2011.
