The Big Bang Theory is a fresh, hilarious sitcome focusing on the lives of four extremely nerdy friends. Sheldon, Leonard, Howard and Raj live a life of science (all are scientists at a university), comic books, video games, the internet, and...eachother. Each character is so very different yet it's their love of their aforementioned lifestlyes that brings them together.Sheldon is, without a doubt, the most hilarious character on the show. It is hard to keep a straight face when he opens his mouth. Some of the content discussed between the characters is pretty advanced math and science topics, but it's not too advanced that it leaves the viewers completely stumped as to what exactly is going on. The topics also add to the comedy. The show contains great dialogue, the characters are introduced and developed well with the help of a great cast.I definitely can not wait for the next season! Live long and prosper!

I had heard about this show but I had never sat down and watched a full episode until I requested the first season out of my local library just a few days ago. I finished watching the entire season in one evening! Long Live Sheldon!

Jim Parsons deserves an emmy. This show is fresh, funny and witty, acted to perfection by all the leads.

This is a hilarious comedy - really well written and well acted! Sheldon really makes the show!

I am somewhat proud of myself when I watch this show, because I can actually understand some of the stuff that they are talking about! LoL... They do tend to discuss advanced science and math topics, but it is not so overbearing that the average person will be stumped, and it adds to the comedy. I am really surprised how this show has gathered such a huge following in the face of popular shows out there that are focused on the bickering of rich teenagers and other "dramatic" situations. This show is extremely witty, and has a Gilmore Girl-ish type quality to it when it comes to the dialogue. I am in totally agreement that Sheldon is the most hilarious guy on the show and I dare you to keep a straight face whenever he speaks!! As well, the theme/opening song for this show is very catchy. You will find yourself attempting to sing it, but will end up having to search for the lyrics (like I did) in order to get the words correct! For those of you that are attempting to watch this TV series, the pilot of this series is not as great as you would expect ( I almost didn't want to continue b/c it was kind of blah) BUT the rest of the season is AWESOME. You will not be disappointed with this TV series and you may even learn a few things from it!

Big Bang Theory is one of the funniest and wittiest shows that I would highly recommend to watch. You'll get hooked, I sure did. Great stories, dialogue, and a hilarious cast. I'm definitely a huge Sheldon (played by Jim Parsons) fan. I cannot wait until Season 2 starts up! All hail to the geeky boys!
