With the making of the upcoming "The Avengers" movie, I have been following all of Marvels movies. They came out with a bang with "Iron Man" but since then have kind of cooled off. "The incredible Hulk" was pretty good, "Iron Man 2" was mediocre, I didn't like "Thor" and now this movie. This movie is better than "Thor" i will give it that, but still not as good as "Iron Man" This movie uses real history to introduce the character of Captain America. Chris Evan stars, and he is actually quite good in the role. He is suited well for the big blockbuster type of movie. The movie itself is underwhelimg. They did a very good job of mixing real history with fiction, but they fail in creating a good villain. Sure Hugo Weaving stars as Red Skull, but he was not developed well enough as a character, and could of been my more menacing. Hayley Atwell also stars but her character really dosen't do anything to the story. One thing that makes this movie better than it actually is, are the performance of two veteran actors. Tommy Lee Jones is absolutely amazing in this movie. I will watch this movie again just to see his performance. he used a great dry humour along with the derisiveness of a general to be just awesome. Stanley Tucci is also good, though in a smaller role. Overall, although better than "Thor" not as good as other Marvell moving, but would recommend anyway just to see Tommy Lee Jones.
