It took me a while to finally watch this movie, and I regret taking so long to watch it. It is a great story, visually beautiful, and the characters are so well portrayed. I thought Cate Blanchett played her part so well, it was heart breaking. I don't usually cry during movies, but this had me in tears. I recommend it, the beginning can get a little slow but overall the movie is fantastic.
Good movie, not great though

I am a big fan of everybody involved in this movie. David Fincher has quickly become one of my favorite directors, and my favorite movies directed by him are the one's that Brad Pitt stars in (I.E. Fight Club, Se7en). So when i saw brad Pitt got an Oscar nomination and Fincher also got an Oscar nomination , I thought it was going to be great. I took me a while to finally watch it, but when I did, I enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't great like the other movie by Fincher and Pitt. The thing I like about David Fincher's directed movie's is that he always has a unique style. In this movie, you can barely tell its his movie. He doesn't show his style. Sure the movie isn't as dark as his other movie, but I still like his style. Cate Blanchett gave a great performance, one of my favourite by her. Like I said earlier, Brad Pitt got an Oscar nomination for his performance in this. Don't get me wrong, his performance is good, but like the rest of the movie, isn't great. In the beginning, he gives the old man a great sense of innocence. But as he gets older, he never loses it. This was a good movie, very enjoyable to watch, but it wasn't great.

I loved the quality and atmosphere of this movie. It felt very rich and beatiful visually. This is a unique love story about a a man and woman aging in opposite directions. Its a lil creepy at times lol.. An old man baby and watching an old man grow up to be younger is alil strange. I love the voice of Brad Pitt as the narrator. I love Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt together. Its a long movie over 2 and half hours so be prepared to give it a long attention span. Good movie but i don't think i'll be watching it over n over.
