Game of Thrones Season 1 was very entertaining from start to finish (10 episodes). It is not a fast-paced series but does not need to be as it works on building the plot week by week with new scenarios and clever character building. The show also proves a point that no character is untouchable. It is not surprising that HBO picked-up Game of Thrones for a 2nd season as I see this story being told for at least 5 seasons. It takes place in a time where there was the Holy Grail, mythology and dragons had become extinct. If you like Spartacus or Breaking Bad and how those stories are told, you will really enjoy Game of Thrones.
