The girl with the dragon tattoo’, is a movie in which the title alone leaves you thinking “what an interesting movie this will be”. In short, the movie lives up to its simple yet enticing title and will have u trying to work your way around solving this murder mystery before the cast. A gothic punk girl with a chip on her shoulder played by the stunning Rooney Mara and the rough and hansom Daniel Craig, make an interesting duo when paired together on the big screen. The acting throughout the movie is very well done and the interaction between characters, especially the chemistry between Mara and Craig, is phenomenal. This movie is raw, intelligent, and does an excellent job of staying true to the original novel and because of this I highly recommend this film.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Rooney Mara did a great job and gave new meaning to the term feminist) is about a girl sleuth who is very good at what she does but obviously has had a tough life growing up. The plot is about a disgraced magazine editor (Daniel Craig) hired to investigate an old, unsolved murder. Eventually these two cross paths and the mystery begins to unravel, not without some good twists and turns along the way. This is a bit of a dark movie with a couple of slow parts but I think it works well with the how the suspense is built up. The movie is lengthy in time but it actually needs to be and this is a great thing because some movies tend to be longer than they should be but The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo leaves you not wanting the movie to be over. You will definitely get your money's worth.

Trust the Hollywood to bring in the big guns, Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer to hopefully make a better movie. I admit the whole story run quite smoothly, not to say that the original Swedish version is bad. I would say they are comparable. If you read the novel and saw the Swedish version, you get the chance to see and make comparison. Of course I suspect there is a bit of commercialism on the movie. Apple computer for one thing is shown so many times in the movie. Coincident ? I don't believe so, but this minor details in my opinion ruins the movie. I don't remember seeing something similar in the original movie, but you know Hollywood.... why not sell some advertising space if you can....Anyway, if you have some free minutes to waste, this is not a bad movie to watch.

I have seen a lots of movies last year but this one is the best. i love this movie. Steve has put his all efforts on swedish settings and character. A girl in this movie has lots of problems and she is mentally incompetent and anti social nature that causas her a worse trouble. A few problems drag down the experience and i think these issues are related to the adaptation which Steve seems to have done a good job with. The performance are of first rate and they do have great chemistry. This is a kind of movie that pulls you in and holds you which is the mark of a great movie. I like this movie because of its mysterious depth.

This movie is awesome. I like this movie so much that I have watched this movie twice. The genre of this movie is drama, crime and mystery. Movie is around 2 hours long. In this movie Journalist Mikael Blomkvist is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing for forty years by Lisbeth Salander, a young computer hacker. I like the way how mikeal solve the whole case. Some people argue that original Swedish version is better but I can’t say much about that one because I haven’t seen that one. I would recommend this movie to those who like mystery movies.

This movie is my favourite movie from the year 2011. It has everything I love in a movie, and everything is done at such a high level. I do not understand why this movie does not get more praise. It may have to do with its release date, but that dosen't explain the reviews. Either way, I loved the filmed. It has been a while since a movie cracked my top 10, and this one has. This movie has everything going on at a high level. You have a script based off the best selling novel. It is a murder mystery with many different levels of intrigue and flawed characters. You have maybe the best working director today in David Fincher working his magic on the movie. People could get lost in the confusing plot, but Fincher makes sure the movie flows with ease, but he keeps the dark atmosphere. The score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross is perfect, and complements the movie. And the cinematography is a great companion to David Fincher's direction. Daniel Craig gives my favourite performance by him in this movie. He plays the lead man, who is a clean reporter, but not without his flaws. The plays the character with such a sense of naturally its amazing. Rooney Mara received an Oscar nomination for her performance in this movie. She was good as the anti social, bi sexual and violent computer hacker, but I feel that the performance is a little overrated, but I am glad the movie got a little attention. Christopher Plummer and Stellen Skarsgård were absolutely perfectly cast for there roles. This is just a movie that is basically awesome at all levels, nuff said. It is a shame this didn't get more award consideration, as I believe it deserved. Overall, this is my favourite movie of 2011 and one of my favourite movies of all time, you should watched it. On a side not, this is a hard R rated movie, so I would no recommend it to younger viewers.
