This movie is awesome, enough said. The plot is excellent, that acting is excellent, the direction is excellent and the location and settings in excellent. everything about this movie is excellent. If Ben Affleck can keep making movie's like this, he will be set for life. The ending of this movie, leaves you fighting with yourself, about what is right and isn't right. Casey Affleck gives his best performance ever. Ed Harris and Morgan Freeman are both at top form, though when are they not. Michelle Monaghan was good when she needed to be, but I found her character alittle under used. A Top Ten Worthy film for sure. I must see.

A New Career For Ben Affleck?

    Bookerguy

Ben Affleck, who won an Oscar for writing Good Will Hunting, shows that his win was no fluke when he co-adapted and directed the film version of the Dennis Lehane novel revolving around a missing four year old girl. Casey Affleck, mostly known for supporting roles takes his first major role and turns it into a great performance. Ed Harris and the always excellent Morgan Freeman join the cast with Michelle Monaghan. Two private detectives are hired by the family of the missing four year old and uncover more than just a missing persons case. The ending shocked me and you'll just have to see it for yourself since I still think about the ending of this film a week and a half after seeing the movie.

Good on Ben Affleck for creating such a riveting movie. Brother Casey is quite believable as a tough private detective who just wants to do the right thing. Strong cast. Strong story based on Dennis Lehane's novel.
