Good Will Hunting

February 12, 2008 | DVD

Will Hunting (Matt Damon) isn't quite what he seems to be. A product of Boston's tough south side, the closest he's ever gotten to higher education is a job scrubbing the floors at MIT. That's a shame, especially when you consider that Will Hunting has a photographic memory and a genius IQ. He's determined his own path for the first 20 years of his life, but when others realize his genius, things get complicated. But he finds salvation in his unofficial psychiatrist (Robin Williams) and his confrontational girlfriend (Minnie Driver). Winner of the 1998 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, Good Will Hunting is a brilliantly crafted story of understanding.

I ahve heard all the hype for this movie. I know about the length's Matt Damon and Ben Affleck went to getting it the way they wanted. So lets say I had high expectations for this movie. It made almost every single one of them. The screenplay was original, the acting was great, especially from Matt Damon and Robin Williams. My one complait comes with the acting of Minie Driver. I thought she wasd terriable in this. Overall though it is a great movie, that will put a smile on your face.
