Guys and Dolls

Starring: Marlon Brando
Director: Joseph L. Mankiewicz

MGM/UA Home Video | August 1, 2006 | DVD

Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons and Frank Sinatra are all superb in this wonderful musical romp. Brando plays a stylish thug who bets his friends that he can romance any girl, even the hoity-toity Salvation Army missionary Sarah Brown (Jean Simmons). Of course, he never could have counted on falling for her as much as she falls for him. Sinatra is grand as a gambling hood and Brando and Simmons are able to give surprisingly touching singing performances - considering that neither of them made it big in musicals. Guys and Dolls is a truly memorably quirky film that`s sure to please anyone who loves romance and lighthearted laughs.
