Harry Potter & The Philosophers Stone (Ws)

So awesome!! I loved it. I really liked the wizard and witchcraft stuff, so i just loved this movie.

Harry Potter is a great movie that children will especially enjoy, and will probably start to take an interest in reading the Harry Potter books as well. The movie was exciting and kept me interested throughout.

When I read the novel, I always thought for many years that the cupboard was an actual cupboard, but it was seen as the little closet under the staircase. The movie clarifies any uncertainty that you may have had while reading the novel.

I recommend a great movie for people of all ages.

'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' is the first installment in a series of movies based on J.K. Rowling's best-selling set of novels. In her books, Rowling tells of mystical land of wizards and witches, mischievous ghosts, three-headed dogs, goblins, dragons, and golden balls that zoom through the air. The task of visually transforming such a world is daunting, yet none of the magic is lost in this brilliant screen adaptation.

The film features and all-star cast of British actors as professors, villains and muggles and a tremendous team of young actors who bring life to their characters in every scene. There is hardly a moment of this movie that does not feature one of the three main young characters: Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) have a commanding presence on-screen and really carry the movie.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is an excellent movie, yet they changed many parts and so it was not really what J.K Rowling had in her book so it really was different. I think the movie was very different from what the book had. I think it was different because the movie crew didn't have enough money or time to do all those scenes. For instance, in the beginnig, when Harry got into Hogwarts, the book said he was one of the last people to get sorted by the Sorting Hat, but in the movie, he was one of the first few people that were sorted. I think that was so because they did not have enough time to do it, but they could have left out the middle and then gone to the end to make it more of what the book was telling.

I must begin this review with a statement, this movie is awesome! It captures the audiences attention and keeps in for 2 and a half hours. It did amazing in box office and I'm sure it will do just as well on vidio! I loved it!

Danielle Radclife is Such a great actor. I think he is going to grow up and be an actor like Tom Cruise ( their both totally cute!!!) so i think the movie is soooooo cool. i hope he does the second and third and fourth book as well. Did i mention that he is my favourite actor.

I've asked every person that i know that has seen Harry potter if they liked it. All of them said that they loved it not one said that it was bad!
My friend that had never seen it aksed me if it was good and I said Its a winner of all movies! Daniel Radclif was excilent in the movie. It was my favorite movie so far in the year.

Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone is an encredible movie. It has the basic supsense of the plot and the surprises. Though it did have some spots like Norbert the Norwegian Ridgeback, that could've been longer. But, hey! If you already have a 2 and half hour movie, you don't need to make it to three. It gets my approval.
