This was the first time I watched the Harry Potter movie that made my eyes water at the end of it. Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry did a realistic acting job in showing pain, shock and frustration over something that he was not able to control or stop. There were other brilliant actors who contributed to the success of this movie such as Professor Allistor Moody and Lord Voldemort, who appeared first time with a face. Ralph Fienes (Voldemort) was a very convincing actor, playing his evil role as the dark wizard. I think that J.K. Rowling will be happy to see that actors gave justice to the characters that she created in her book. If there's one actor who I think did not give justice to the character it would be the character of Viktor Krum. The actor rarely talked and he was a little bit serious in his role.
This fourth movie marked the beginning of a teenager and adult theme. The movie had teenage scenes and dialogues, where children of this age would love. It was also heavier and there were some frightening scenes that children under the age of ten might find really scary. Therefore, I can say goodbye Kids! Hello Guys!
The use of sound effects, sceneries, and make-up was great! The director and the writers were able to exclude unimportant scenes from the book and included the important episodes without offending the writer. Even if you do not read the books you can easily follow the movie, however, it will certainly be helpful and clearer for the viewers if they had previous knowledge of the HP story. The movie revolved around the triwizard tournament; joining in the contest, winning, the loyalty of Harry and his friends, the pain of losing, and discovery of being deceived by people you trusted. These things will certainly give you reasons to like the movie, not to mention that this movie will make you smile, will make you angry, and as I have said will make you cry. Therefore, if you like movie with humour, action, suspense, and drame, then Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire is for you.
