Piper, the earthy middle sister, mediates between her siblings. Phoebe discovers The Book of Shadows in the attic and their witchly powers are activated, igniting a bond that reaches beyond petty, sisterly grudges. Prue has the power to move objects, Piper to freeze time and Phoebe to see the future. The sisters must band together to protect themselves, and the world, from the dark, demonic forces that seek to destroy them. It's an existence fraught with excitement and danger, but these three unique sisters wouldn't trade their "charmed" lives for anything!

While shooting a jungle movie on the remote Skull Island, filmmaker Denham and his crew stumble upon a prehistoric world populated by dinosaurs and giant snakes. The most dangerous and magnificent of all the unusual and exotic creatures is "King Kong," a fifty-foot gorilla. Using gas bombs, Denham subdues the beast and brings him to New York City, where Kong goes on a rampage, destroying everything in his past and kidnapping a beautiful young actress.

Now, after a terrible car accident has left Blanche crippled, the two sisters live as recluses, hiding out in a decaying Hollywood mansion. Inside this creepy dwelling, the wheelchair-bound invalid depends upon Jane to tend to her every need. But time has transformed the sugar-sweet "Baby Jane" into a nightmarish caricature of her childhood self -- and she's doing everything she can to make her sister's life a living hell.

Night Shyamalan appears briefly in the film as Dr. Hill, who examines Cole after his injury at the birthday party. THE SIXTH SENSE was nominated for six Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director (Shyamalan), Best Supporting Actor (Osment), Best Supporting Actress (Collette), Best Film Editing, and Best Original Screenplay. Although THE SIXTH SENSE featured Haley Joel Osment's first major film role, he had previously appeared in other movies, including FORREST GUMP. Bruce Willis offered to star in the film for much less than his usual salary, largely based on the strength of the script. Shyamalan's script sold in only one day. THE SIXTH SENSE is one of the top 10 box office grossing films of all time. Shot for an estimated budget of $55 million, the film made over $293 million on its domestic theatrical release alone. Cinematographer Tak Fujimoto also photographed Terrence Malick's BADLANDS and Jonathan Demme's THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS.
