Synopsis
Advertising exec Ted Kramer and his son Billy are dealt a serious blow when their dutiful wife and mom Joanna abruptly leaves them. Ted, who hardly knows his own child, now has to take over all the parenting and household duties. Things are a bit rough at first, but as Ted's fathering skills develop, the two come to know each other, and form a strong bond. Then Joanna suddenly re-enters their lives... announcing that she wants custody of Billy. Ted loves his son too much to hand him over so easily, prompting a bitter court battle that will affect the lives of all three.
