Life has an uncharted map in which everyone must create a path to
live their lives, in the good times, and even the down-trodden
times.
Taking such a thought, and forming it into film is sometimes a
challenge to pull off, without having to resort to overused ideas
of pain, suffering, and loss. However, 'One Week' takes the now
mortality tested life of Ben Tyler (Joshua Jackson) and paints a
vivid, lifelike portrait of how the pieces which make his life have
come together.
Overall, 'One Week' is a heartfelt, deeply moving piece which sits
the viewer down and allows the psycology of the characters to move
the story forward. There is nothing better than knowing that having
to take a chance of finding out who you are can be the fuel to
ignite the courage to live life with passion, and a little faith in
oneself.
