    what is truth?

Kurosawa at his best, skillfully interweaves different characters' perceptions of the exact same event. Using distinctive styles, the different stories collectively address the issues of objective truth. Criterion exhibits its repeated excellence in this gorgeous restored black and white print. An extremely entertaining, masterfully orchestrated film that is an essential for any film collection
