This film gives viewers a real-life look into different health care systems around the world such as Canada, France, England & Cuba, while comparing them to the debated American system. Although I can appreciate the first-hand look into the downfalls of the American system throughout this film, as a Canadian, I feel that this film does not give a completely truthful portrayal of our system in Canada. It did not touch on the fact that Canadians are very often subjected to wait months, sometimes years for different treatments, as well as surgeries. It did not point out the Physician and Nursing shortage we have been facing, or the very real fact that many Canadians are abandoning our system and choosing to pay for a life-saving surgery or treatment elsewhere around the world for the simple fact that Canada's healthcare system cannot accommodate them. I found this film to be targeted at diminishing the reputation of the American health care system.

An emotional and hard-hitting movie especially with the personal stories. Michael Moore definitely shows the darker side of the United States healthcare system in comparison to places like Canada, France, Cuba, and England. Regardless of how much truth there is to the film, there is an obvious need for change and it has to be now.
