This film was the basis for stage musical, "Sugar." The April 1995 issue of "Vanity Fair" magazine featured a photo spread by Annie Liebovitz of ten young actresses dressed in lingerie. For a version of the photo displayed on a billboard in above Sunset Boulevard, images of Tony Curtis (in jockey shorts) and Jack Lemmon (in a slip) were added.
