I re-watched this movie last night because I am going to go see Eclipse today. New Moon was defintely more action packed than Twilight what with the introduction of the werewolves and the Volturi but it was still filled with too much mellowdrama and angst. Hopefully Eclipse will move beyond that.

after the laughable offering that was Twilight, I had my expectations considerably lowered for this installment. The story benefits from the expansion of Jacob's storyline (Taylor Lautner seems the better actor of the trio), the special effects have seen an upgrade and the overall quality of the movie has improved thanks I think to a change in directors. Kristin Stewart is still painfully whiny as Bella and I thought the climax of the movie was prematurely cut short. But overall, much better effort

I won't review the movie specifically because chances are, if you're buying it, you probably saw it in theatre. I will however comment on the lack of special features on this "2 disk special edition". One would think that there would be quite a few good things considering the size and popularity of this movie. Nope. You get a fairly short 6-part documentary style piece about the voyage from Twilight to New Moon, and some music videos. That's it. I liked it but I didn't love it and I feel for the money that special editions cost, a purchaser should love it. If I knew what all would be on the movie when I paid for this one, I wouldn't have bothered getting the 'special edition' copy. If you are wanting this movie I recommend either just going for the basic copy or waiting until they go for the money-grabber and make a new special edition down the road.

I loved this movie. Left me wanting more, and i thought it was really good! And was alot like the book!! very good!!!!

i loved the movie so much that i watched it 4 times when i bought one time right after the other because the movie gave me a wicked feeling each time. For each person who considers purchasing the movie from this website chapters.com I would definately advise you not to, the price is way to high. I purchased the movie at a local movie store for $19.99 + tax.

Follow Bella Swan in the second book in the world's best saga.(The Twilight Saga) I am in LOVE with Edward Cullen. This is amazing. The special effects are outstand and the story line will make you cry and fall in love. Words don't explain how wonderful and incredible this movie is. Just watch, rent or buy it. You won't regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Moon was absolutely amazing! It had me on the edge of my seat with the romance. Robert, Kristen and Taylor and the rest of the cast were excellent in their acting skills. Although I was hoping for a different ending, I realized after reading Eclipse and Breaking Dawn why it ended that way. I cannot wait for Eclipse to be released!

Twilight the movie had me laughing out loud... at the absolutely horrible acting and don't get me started on the special effects. New Moon had me falling asleep in the theatre. It was sooooo long and soooo slow. The weakest book in the series translates into a weak script. I know the Twilight diehards refuse to have anything negative said about precious Edward & co. but if you are looking for cinematic gold this is not it.

following with the series, it is very well done, lots of special effects and lots of suspense, the wolf clan sure comes out in this one, I had the chance to meet one of the young wolves in person, got some great photos and an autograph from him, looking forward to seeing the next movie in the series

The Twilight saga: New Moon was an almost perfect reinactment of the book. It was only missing a few key parts that fans miss dearly. A huge improvement over Twilight (the movie).Will leave you begging for Eclipse!
