The Time travelers wife staring Rachel Micadams and Eric Bana i find was an amazing movie, with one of the best plots that i have ever seen, i found that the actors that they chose for the rolls were perfect, they complimented each others character just right. I am also going to point out that the movie as a whole was moving at the right pace, i didnt find it to long or to short, just the right length to keep the audience attention, but short enough that when it was over it kinda left you wanting more. the suspense factor always important .
There was only one problem that i found, and that is a time traveler one, we know that in the moive Henry (Eric Bana) goes back into time and meets Clare (Rachel Miadams) for the first time and tells her that they are going to be friends in the future, than when they meet again Clare has to introduce herself again to him, as if they never met in the first place. i just thought that maybe the director should of been a little more clear on that part,
i conclusion The time travelers wife is for sure one of my all time favorite epic love stories.

The movie of "The Time Traveler's Wife" suffers from the usual book-to-movie problem: it's a bit too short, lost a bit too much, and ends slightly differently in a way that reduces the impact on the viewer. It's not that it's a bad movie - I think, had I not read the Audrey Niffinegger book first - I might have enjoyed it quite a bit more.

Eric Bana, however, really didn't suit the part. He's a bit too clean cut, a bit too cold and jerky in his interpretation of the role, and it threw me off. Rachel McAdams, however, is a perfect Claire, and the young role of Alba was also cast well.

All in all, this movie about a relationship is - in and of itself - a good movie. It just fell short of delivering the emotional impact the book had, and the choice of ending left me a little bit flat.

I was very impressed with the book "the time travellers wife" it seemed very interesting to me that he knew her at all different parts of her life such as a child, the movie however was a large dissappointment. How I imagined things in my imagination made it almost seem extremely cheesy in the movie, where he disappears and appears in no clothes, I felt the movie portrayed it very strangely. I was interested to see how they would track the meetings between claire and her future husband, the book was very all over the place but made sense as you kept reading, I feel that if you did not read the book the movie would have been extremely confusing because you dont know what happened prior. I feel that they left out parts of the book which had me laughing while reading, such as when claire was younger and they tied up the guy who was disrespectful to her to the tree. Also the number of miscarriages in the book is much more than that of the movie, overall I feel that the book was extremely well written but the movie did not portray the essence of the book. Overall I reccommend reading the book, watch the movie on a rainy afternoon !
