A groundbreaking method of art instruction that won''t be found anywhere else on the market

Personalized home decor is all the rage today. With the newest addition to our line of Acrylic Painting Layer by Layer kits, beginning artists can decorate their walls with a beautiful painting of their own, even if they''ve never before picked up a paintbrush. All the painting supplies and tools needed to re-create this 9'' x 12'' painting of a lovely Italian home are provided in the kit-and many of the supplies can be used again and again! This innovative method of art instruction, exclusively from Walter Foster Publishing, breaks out each stage of the painting into "layers," so artists always know what area to paint next. The preprinted canvas allows artists to begin painting right away, without even having to draw; and each layer is accompanied by color mixing samples that provide artists with the exact paint "recipes" they need to create the specified color. As an added bonus, the kit comes with a color-measuring grid (that also acts as a mixing palette), making color mixing a breeze. Using real artist''s techniques and materials, Layer by Layer is a creative approach that is far above "paint-by-number." Learning to paint has never been easier!
