Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Book! “Avedon was determined that his images should have punch and radiate palpable electricity” – Avedon Fashion 1944 - 2000 This is a retrospection of the work of legendary fashion photographer Richard Avedon during his career at Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and The New Yorker. I enjoyed looking at the beautiful images in this book and learning about the career of Richard Avedon. I fell in love with nearly every image in this book. Sometimes I felt as if I was watching a classic black and white movie. I also wanted every dress in the 1940s – 1950s! Fashion lovers, stylists and photographers and anyone who loves beautiful images will find something to love in this book – hopefully some insights and a lot of inspiration.
