Beloved children’s author Sandra Boynton has charmed kids and the young-at-heart for years with her wonderfully offbeat illustrations and deliciously silly rhymes. Boynton’s Greatest Hits Volume One features the classically goofy Blue Hat, Green Hat, concerning a confused little turkey who thinks getting dressed is all about putting his pants over his head. A to Z is both an exercise in wacky fun and a great way for young children to learn the alphabet as they chant out the letters to an admiring aardvark and a zigzagging zebra. Your kids will thank you — and you’ll thank Boynton — for this magical collection.
