From Our Editors
Includes The Horse and His Boy, The Last Battle, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Magician's Nephew, Prince Caspian, The Silver Chair and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Lewis creates seven stories with an interlocking theme which can be examined on several levels. Having read these books as both a child and an adult, I am constantly amazed at the complexity of Lewis's parable. Though the chronicles mirror the Bible, one needs not be religious to enjoy these books as epics in their own right. Surely a set I will read to my children and grandchildren.
