Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great insight Let me start off by saying this piece of literature is incredible for any true 2pac fan. It gives you amazing insight into the life of 2pac shakur and gives you a glimpse into his soul through his poetry and lyrics. The book is basically about his life on stage and off stage and about major life events that happened to 2pac. I find it incredible reading this because you can see the changes that occur in 2pac's personalities are directly linked to the lyriocs of his music at the time. For example, when he was charged with rape in the mid 90's and spent time in jail you could directly feel that through his music. His lyrics became more aggresive and hateful and you see exactly the changes that occur for him. It is also interesting to read the poetrt he wrote towards thew end of his life when he believed he was going to die. As a fan of 2pac this book really made me look at 2pac from a diffrent light other than the one society would want you to see. I believe society views 2pac as nothing more than a thug and criminal who brought nothing to the world. Through reading this book I have learned there are many sides to 2pac and he did have alot of positive contributions to add not only to the hip hop community but to the world as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from dear 2pac I loved this book but it does not tell much about him. It is however a great way to honour the man that graced us with his lyrical presence!!!! R.I.P.
