Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Book!!!! Hit and Run is about a boy named Mike who has been living with his irresponsible cousin, Billy for 4 years after his mom died in a hit and run accident. Now his teacher, Riel, (who used to be a cop) has figured out that the car crasher that killed Mike's mother might not have been an accident! Hit and Run is a great book because at the end there is a twist. This is also a great book because the author can really describe the characters feelings with words. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries. I would give this book a 4 out of 5.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An okay book The book "Hit and Run" is a pretty good novel by Norah McClintock. This mystery book talks about a boy named Mike who experienceed a horrible thing. His mother, Nancy, was killed in a car accident 4 years ago. Everything in Mike's life changed just like that. He had to live with his uncle Billy, never had a good meal, don't have clean clothes, never always have food in the fridge, and he has been ditching school a lot. All Billy cared about was drinking, having parties with his friends Lew and Dan. So Mike's history teacher, Riel, who was an ex-cop, talked to Mike and saying how he is not doing well in school and Riel also knew why he his acting this way because his mother died. Soon Mike found out that riel was the one that was investigating on the death of Mike's mother, but the mother was never found. So now Mike and Riel are working as a team to get clues and found out who killed Nancy and make that person go to jail for what he has doe. They are getting closer and closer to find out. I think this is pretty interesting. Norah McClintock always write magnificient novels. They have so much details and you can never stop reading until you are absoulutley done the whole book. Noarh McClinktock writes books that makes you think and makes you wonder why they wrote it this way and what might happen to the characters during the novel. So I hope people of my age will enjoy this book and keep reading other Norah McClintock's book and maybe even try writing some novels yourself one day if you get inspired by authors like Norah McClintock.
