Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Lunch in Paris was a cute book. Who doesn’t like a story about a woman who falls in love and moves to Paris? Sprinkled here and there were, what looked like, some really delicious recipes. However, it was a little bit of an annoyance that she was blessed with such an enviable life, and yet, complained a lot of the time. Maybe it’s me, but it seemed like they were just handed wonderful things, and weren’t all too enthusiastic with what they had.

It's a light read with deep insights, drool-worthy recipes, and just the right mix of humour and sentimentality. Elizabeth Bard has left me with an awful case of the travel bug - and the cooking bug, too.
