Pretty Little Liars #7: Heartless is rated 4.875 out of 5 by 8.

In picturesque Rosewood, Pennsylvania, neighbors gossip over picket fences, and gleaming SUVs sit in every crushed-granite driveway. But recently, friendly smiles have been replaced with suspicious glares and accusatory whispers-and it''s all because Hanna, Aria, Emily, and Spencer just can''t keep their mouths shut. . . .

First they claimed they found a dead body in the woods behind Spencer''s house, only to have it vanish without a trace. Then when the same woods went up in flames, they swore they saw someone who''ssupposedto be dead rise from the ashes. And even after all that, the pretty little liars are still playing with fire.

Hanna''s trading in her Dior trench for a straitjacket. Aria''s trying to contact the dead. Emily''s dumped her boyfriend and is skipping town . . . again. And Spencer thinks someone in her family has gotten away with murder.

The friends insist they''re telling the truth about what they saw, but all of Rosewood thinks they''re simply out for attention-and nobody likes a girl who cries wolf. So when the big bad killer comes after the girls, will anyone believe them . . . or will they be the next to disappear?

Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty little liars go crazy... and amish **Spoilers for previous books.. none for Heartless** Heartless is the 7th book in the Pretty Little Liars series. Last we left off with the PLL’s ,they thought they’d seen Ali, or what seemed to be Ali, living and breathing again while they were running from a fire set to Spencer’s barn and the woods surrounding it. The cops and the rest of the world begin to think that the four girls are nothing but attention seeking liars. Things go downhill in big proportions. The girls finally focus on Ali’s murder/disappearance instead of the usual girl problems. A sends them all off on some kind of tasks to piece together what happened to Ali. Little do they know things go much deeper and touch many other lives than just their tight knit circle. Emily gets sent off to Amish world thinking she will find Ali alive and well. Hanna gets shipped off to some kind of mental institution to help her move on from her past, but ends up only bringing her closer to it. Aria finds help in the spiritual world with an unlikely new accomplice. And Spencer Hastings finds out what she thought she knew was nowhere near the truth, and ends up finding a whole new sort of family that’s been under her nose. I guess lying, cheating and concealing runs in the Hastings blood after all. The girls finally trust A. But was it all just a master mind plan to ruin their lives even more? As the cops make some gruesome new discoveries, the pretty little liars find themselves back at square one only with a lot more baggage full of confusion. Some loose ends are tied again. But in true PLL fashion, it’s not over until the fat lady sings. There’s many open gaps left for the closing book of the series, which I have high hopes for. This is another good solid instalment in my now favourite girl drama series. Can’t wait to get my hands on the last book and get every last juicy detail milked out of this addictive series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AHHHHH MMAAAZZZZIIIINNNNNGGGGGG So i just finished this book, and let me tell you, it is honestly freaky and they always leave you with questions and wanting to read more. of course i started with the first book (Pretty Little Liars) and i havent stopped. These books keep you guessing, keep you in suspence, and you'll be thinking about them even after you put the book down and walk away. This story is about 4 very pretty girls, who's friend vanishs and they have to figure out what happened to their friend, the girl everyone loved and wanted to be. Just go out and get the first one. Trust me, it will give you goosebumps and you wont want to shut the pages. And it wont leave you empty handed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hit, yet again All of Sara's books have been great so far. However, I'm beginning to find the story sort of dragged out. I think she should throw in a few new details to spice it up. Also, when i was reading, there were so many little clues that I began to get confused trying to remember them all. Overall, a great read once again!
