Supernatural: Bobby Singer's Guide To Hunting is rated 2 out of 5 by 1.

My name is Bobby Singer. In twenty-four hours I''m gonna lose my memory. So here''s everything you need to know.

Monsters, demons, angels, vampires, the boogeyman under your bed: I''ve seen it, I''ve hunted it, I''ve killed it. I''m not the only hunter out here, but there aren''t as many as there used to be. Not near as many as there need to be.I''ve learned everything I can about every damned critter that walks, crawls, or flies, and I''m not gonna let that all be for nothing. I''m not going down without a fight. I''m not letting everything I''ve learned disappear. So that''s what you''re holding in your hands-everything I know. Anything that''d be useful for Sam, Dean, and the hunters that come after me.

It''s a guide to hunting...it''s a guide tome. My last will and testament. Ya idjits.

Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A good concept but not a good book I haven't read far into the book yet, though it does seem interesting. My only complaint is that it is not written very well. There is a lack of descriptive words and I just can't get a vivid image in my mind of what the character is going through, even though I am a big fan of the show and know what I should except of how each character is and the settings they often find themselves in. It also seemed a bit all over the place, not thought out I suppose. I almost felt like the author only wrote it to get money, not because he had an actual story to tell. Perhaps he just isn't an author who can capture my attention is the first couple of chapters, making me swoon just by describing the color of a chair. I felt like everything was up to me, I was supposed to design the setting and I don't like that. I want to know about the texture of the bread someone is eating, or how the butter greased their fingers, causing them to feel embarrassed as they fumble and fondle a piece of bread, the persons eyes detecting stares from those around them in their paranoid state. I wouldn't recommend this book. It may be interesting, but I cannot get passed the authors writing style. Perhaps I am being too harsh and he is a good writer. Perhaps I shouldn't be comparing him to John Green in my head. But if you can't make me feel like I'm a part of the story, like I'm there in the room, then your book is no good.
