Trenton Lee Stewart’s The Mysterious Benedict Society is a delightful, heart-pounding tale that celebrates and reveals the power of youth, never faltering in its suspense-filled plot. This is by far one of the best books I’ve ever read! It worked its way into my mind, heart, and soul, and just embedded itself there for eternity. About the Author

Trenton Lee Stewart was born in 1970. He graduated from the Iowa Writer's Workshop and wrote the adult novel "Flood Summer" in 2005. He has since become a children's novelist with the three part series - "The Mysterious Benedict Society" - which includes "The Perilous Journey" and "The Prisoner's Dilemma." He also teaches creative writing.
