The Warlock is rated 4.25 out of 5 by 4.
Read the fifth book in the New York Times bestselling The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, perfect for fans of The Maze Runner and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

The twins of prophecy have been divided--the end has begun.

Alcatraz:

Although their ally Dr. John Dee has been declared utlaga, Machiavelli and Billy the Kid will follow the plans the Elders have laid before them: they will loose the monsters of Alcatraz on the city of San Francisco, thereby triggering the end of the humani race.

Danu Talis:

The Shadowrealm that Scatty and Joan of Arc have entered is far more dangerous than they could ever have imagined. And they haven''t landed here by chance--the warriors were called for a reason. So were Saint-Germain, Palamedes, and Shakespeare. The group was summoned because they must travel back in time to Danu Talis and destroy it. For the island of Danu Talis, known in humani myth as the lost city of Atlantis, must fall if the modern world is to exist.

San Francisco:

The end is finally near. Josh Newman has chosen a side, and he will not stand with his sister, Slophie, or the Alchemyst, Nicholas Flamel. He will fight alongside Dee and the mysterious Virginia Dare.

Unless Sophie can find her twin before the battle begins, all is lost--forever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Ending for the Second Last Book The fifth book starts off where the fourth book leaves off. In the fifth book you start to see how the finally fight is going to turn out. One of the best ways to explain this book is that if you've been reading the series, this is the book where the do do hits the fan for a lot of characters and they have to decide what there next move is. I did enjoy the ending of this book, thank fully I've started the series after it was finished so I don't have to wait a year to read the final book. Like I've said with all the other books in this series, I love the incorporation of some many mythologies. Great read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jaw Dropping-ly Awesome! There are many revelations and even more questions posed in this 5th and second last book in The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series by Michael Scott. At times my jaw literally dropped because what was revealed was so shocking, yet on the whole, made complete sense. Especially at the end!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not sure I have read the first 2 books in a few days, on the third book I started to get bored, very repetitive and feels like a soap opera of a fantasy story... i did not buy the 4th, and probably will not buy this one.... you just want to get to the end already not because of curiosity just because it is taking to long to come to resolve...
