About the Author

Jennifer Warren was destined to cook. While growing up, she watched her parents create delectable dishes in their family restaurant, and her brother cook up feasts as a chef and caterer. It was difficult to avoid culinary discussions in her family. In her teens, Jennifer decided to become a vegetarian. She was disappointed that her vegetarian cookbooks didn’t include comfort food, food that she grew up enjoying. So with some determination, creativity, and experimentation she began creating vegetarian comfort dishes of her own.

Jennifer earned a degree in philosophy and English literature from Trent University. But that didn’t get her out of the food industry. Currently, she is the writer and editor whose projects include a series of recipes for dinner-themed C.D.’s.
