Rated 4 out of 5 by from The key word is inconvenient. Although there has been some bad press about this truth, I have eyes that see what is going on all around us. We are foolish to think this is all propoganda and speculation. In the past 20 years I've noticed climate change at an alarming rate. We need to do what we can with recycling. No more garbage pick-up, all waste can be recycled, composted or sold at a garage sale! The big difference will be when the "real" big polluters are out of the back pockets of those voted in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wake Up Call Whether you are familiar with Mr. Gore as a personality or not, what he is saying is merely echoing what the scientists and ecologists have been saying for years. He is saying it in such a way that while we are being shown our indifference up until now, there is hope, if everyone does a little. The polar ice cap isn't breaking up for no reason...the rivers and lakes aren't drying up for no reason...I would like to see this trend reversed in my lifetime for the sake of my grandchildren.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Global Hoax The theory of global warming - as caused by humans - stands on a very tremulous foundation. The science is [often deliberately] fraudulent, and the documentary is plagued by rampant fear mongering, disseminating worldwide panic. The government and mainstream media are quick to propagate the scam and ready to anathematize anyone who dissents or questions the validity of the theory. In truth the global climate is always changing [a few decades ago we were being warned about a coming ice age]. If you really want to be informed about the truth do some research, there are many good books and documentaries [with peer reviewed science] on the subject and on the debunking of the global warming fraud. Whatever the hidden agenda behind the subterfuge of the global warming theory, rest assured climate change is perfectly normal and should be expected. And if we want to help our environment there are a countless number of real issues that need our full attention and funding for research. Let's stop wasting billions of tax dollars on a scam!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Propaganda In response to the other reviewer, Al Gore is the last man I would want to be president of the United States. Hopefully, the viewers will pay attention to the press, where it states that the things that Mr. Gore has been saying in his documentary are overexaggerated and untrue. Much information has been left out of this documentary; information which disproves the "theory" (yes, it is a theory. There is scientific debate) of global warming. Besides, why listen to Al Gore? His hypocrisy is endless. In fact, his home in Nashville consumes twenty times more energy than the average American household. He may buy credits, but these ultimately do nothing to improve the environment. He also buys these credits from himself, and therefore does not lose any money in it. I would recommend that the viewers of this documentary would also watch another documentary that aired in Britain, "The Great Global Warming Swindle." See both sides of the picture, and then decide for yourself if you really believe global warming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must See I found it very thought provoking and interesting to watch. My attention was grabbed right from the begining through to the added features and update since the movie was made. Al Gore is extremely funny and his humour is much needed in regards to this topic. If you live on this wonderful planet, or have children that will be on it after you, this is a must watch. Weather you call it Global Warming or not, we have to accept that we can't do what we're doing to our earth without consequences, and this lays those consequences out for you clearly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Al Gore is finally looking presidential This film was gut wrenching to watch in many ways. At the same time I acknowledge my own environmental sins I mentally calculate the cost to change. Al Gore forces you to soul search and think about how you are either contributing to the problem of climate change or the solution. Most of us contribute to the problem and at the end he gives us hope by letting you know about the small and very achievable things you can do to make a REAL difference. Thank you Mr. Gore, I wish I can call you president some day.
