Solar Productions was actor Steve McQueen's production company. Released theatrically in New York City October 17, 1968. Color by Technicolor. Shot on location in San Francisco, California. Steve McQueen, who raced automobiles and motorcycles, did his own stunt driving in a Mustang GT in the memorable car chase through San Francisco's famous hills, clocking speeds up to 115 miles an hour. Additional cast: Pat Renella (John Ross), Al Checco (Desk Clerk), and Paul Genge.
