Classic and complex western about the famous gunfight at the OK Corral. Henry Fonda stars as Wyatt Earp, the one-time outlaw who gave up banditry to become a US Marshall. As the lawman of a rowdy frontier town where his brother's killers have taken refuge, Earp dedicates himself to bringing the evildoers to justice.
The film follows Earp's relationship with Doc Holliday, and his own personal evolution from renegade to settled member of the "new", more civilized west.
In this Ford classic, Sheriff Wyatt Earp sets out to clean up the rugged town of Tombstone during the 1880s, with a little help from the titular schoolteacher, and ends up dueling with Doc Holliday at the OK Corral.
Rated BBFC PG by the British Board of Film Censors.
This film is a remake of the 1939 film "Frontier Marshal."
