Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Different Kind of zombie Film, in a good way I think the Zombie genre is pretty well known, it dosen't need much explaining. Well, the writers of this movie really thought outside the box for it. They get claustrophobia going, and they hold off all the actual zombie content till later on, which makes the build up the more thrilling. The main reason i watched this film, was because it stars Stephen McHattie. I love this guy, but he never gets any big roles. So when I heard he had the lead here i had to watch it. The guy nails the part. he has the smugness of a disk jockey down pat, he nails it. He is just so cool. This guy needs to start getting more big roles. I also like the way they made the movie have a political message. I am from Canada, so i get the French VS. English thing, and it was good. On a side note, the town this movie is set in, Pontypool, is the town beside my town, Bethany. At the beginning when McHattie's character is listening to the radio in his car, it was cool hearing all these city names I know. If your a fan of the Zombie genre, or just for a good thrill, watch it.
