Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful This is just as amazing as Planet Earth was - only this series focuses on the oceans. My younger brother is a fanatic with all forms of sea creatures, and he loved this DVD set. If you enjoyed Planet Earth, you will love this series as well. This is not a 'boring' documentary series - the enteraining videos, and the wildlife are incredible to watch. The cameras capture things beyond your imagination, things that will rarely be seen by people around the world. The music is also fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have. I also own the Plant Earth series and love it, so picking up Blue Planet was almost a reflex. I've always been fascinated by the oceans of the world and the abundance of life they are home to. In my opinion the most amazing creatures on earth reside in the depths of the sea. From the smallest shrimp defending its home to the largest whale giving birth. If you feel the same way than you definitely must buy yourself a copy of Blue Planet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Really well done. Very informative and exciting. I loved watching every moment. The camera angles and the amazing colours just make it so interesting to watch. Now I'm off to buy Planet Earth

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Positively Amazing I finally find myself struggling for words regarding this DVD collection. How about awesome, inspiring, breathtaking, and a thousand others words with the same meanings compared to the emotional impact of this series and the extraordinary package which makes up this Blue Planet collection. The Blue Planet is your chance to explore the seas. I grew up watching Jacques Cousteau on PBS and thought his exploration of the sea could hardly be equaled. It took alot of technological advances and tremendous vision by the BBC but they have scaled new heights or, in the nicest possible sense, thrown light into greater depths. The images are just breathtaking. This is very difficult to review if given the chance it is well worth many more stars than 5.
