Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You won’t be disappointed This film which was based on a comic book in the 80’s is no doubt one of the best action packed, mysterious, and suspenseful movie which gives viewers the curiosity what will happen each minute. The main character “V” is a philosophical intelligent mysterious masked man that is skilled in the arts of hacking, weaponry and combat. He is in quest of obliterating the totalitarian government in England. In this movie, a fascist party known as “Norsefire” has the leading power to control the entire British community. They secretly send those who oppose the government to a death camp were as forced to be experimented and eventually murdered. The government prevents exposing the truth by making up believable stories and broadcast them to the community. V is revolted with the idea therefore set multiple plans to destroy the government by bombing each political building in order to stop the ruling. He later took over the television station and broadcasts himself towards British civilians by telling them to stand up and fight against the corrupted absolute power of the government. I believe this movie have an important theme that has to do with our corrupted society. There are many real life events that relates to this movie. Generally, when it comes to a corrupted environment caused by the government, people would do anything even violence to stop the tyranny force. Our world is corrupted. It is important for people to get involved and know what’s going on in our government. Personally, I think point of this movie is to explain how every civilian should have some control of the government, not them controlling us in a corrupted way. I give this movie a solid 5 and a must watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing V for Vendetta is such a unique movie that is so fascinating. The world that is portrayed in it is completely different from the present day world in which we live; it is a corrupt world. I never expected this movie to be so good, and so interesting. I highly recommend this movie for older teens and older.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from V is for Vicious Another comic turned movie and what a movie! Moore and Lloyd wrote the original graphic novel but it took Wachowski brothers to bring it to life on screen (kudos to the McTeigue of course). The dialogue is fresh, chock full of ideas, angry, sad, happy, you name it. V had to command the screen with this speech and body language and Hugo Weaving was more than up for the challenge. Evey is the perfect emotional centre of the film, bringing a much needed sense of humanity to V vicious vendetta. And the score of 1812 is just awesome. Watch it. Now.
