Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aaron's Hair is 'HAIR RAISING'! Aaron's Hair, by Robert Munsch, is truly a hair raising experience. The children in my split second and third grade class, as well as the "CHILDREN" in my teacher's college class, absolutely loved this book. It had most of us rolling on the floor laughing. I have never experienced a book that could make children of all ages laugh in the same way. The illustrations are perfect, displaying the emotions that Aaron and the other characters in the story feel as they are tracking the antics of the hair. Every classroom should have this book.

From the Publisher

Aaron grows his hair long to look like his father. When it starts to annoy him, he says, "Hair I hate you!" The hair jumps off his head and runs away. With Aaron in frantic pursuit, it attaches itself to just about everyone and everything, resulting in a huge traffic jam.

From the Jacket

Aaron is having the world's worst bad hair day -- his hair won't even stay on his head!

Aaron's hair gives him problems: it always does exactly the opposite of what he wants it to do. One day, Aaron gets so mad he yells, "Hair! I hate you!" Proving that even bad hair can have hurt feelings, Aaron's hair jumps off his head and out the door. A hilarious chase follows, as Aaron's hair runs all over town. It leaves chaos in its wake, attaching itself to different parts of peoples' bodies, and even to a statue! It causes an enormous traffic jam, all with Aaron in hot pursuit. At the end of the bad hair day, Aaron realizes that he really does like his hair, and the runaway hair forgives him and comes home.

In true Munsch tradition, Aaron's hair is a fast-paced, rollicking story sure to delight his fans of all ages.
