Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Loved It The Dragon Ball Graphic Novel No. 2 was an excellent book. It displayed wonderful and detailed artwork and a very well done story line. Akira Toriyama has made a book that should surely sell out quickly. The book contained the continuing adventure of the young and strong, yet naive Goku and an annoying genius named Bulma and lots more well done characters in the comic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Before Dragonball Z, Dragon Ball ruled. Dragon Ball Volume two, is the companion to, obviously, volume 1. With many twists and turns, this book is a laugh from beginning to end. The main character throughout the manga, Gokou, is portrayed in the book as being a little bit dim and niave, but shines with brilliant moments now and again. As a fan of DragonBall Z, reading where the characters all came from is interesting. This book is ideal for Dragon Ball Z fans, and anyone else. I recommend it highly. All the animation is done well and Akira Toriyama, well known writer of the Dr. Slump series, is really talented in his ability to turn scenes from comical to serious. It has an intriguing plot that makes you want to go out and buy more of his work, just to see how the story ends. And believe me, It is a lo-ong time before this one ends. Once again, Excellant book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Book You'll Never Put Down When I first picked up this book and started reading it I couldn't put it down. I read it four times! It is hilarious and adventurous. The story with a comical little boy with a tail,a bad-tempered 16 year old girl, a perverted pig and a Desert Bandit with his sidekick. It was the best comic I have ever read in the universe! All the money is worth it!!!!! The best part is that its edited, no discusting parts or swearing. It was much better than the thin little 32 page comics! It has very good cartooning. Akira Toriyama has outdone himself! death_cythe@hotmail.com

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing begining to a great legacy.. The Dragon Ball series starts of with a bang! This amasing book is full of adventures and hysterics, as an increasing group travels, in seach of the Dragon Balls. These balls are orange orbs with 1 to 7 stars in them, granting the person who collects them all one wish. Bulma a 16 year old girl on summer vacation nearly runs over Goku, a short 14 year old boy, who is incredibly strong and has a monkey tail!! As their quest continues, they run in to huge bad guys, and funny friends, who help out in many different ways. Enjoy the story that started it all in the first amasing graphics novel, of Goku's young life, and watch him in this martil arts mainia. J. Hartzema
