Rated 5 out of 5 by from My son loves it! I never thought my 20-month old son would love this book. Purple seems to be his favorite color to say, so I gave this book a try. I still can't beleive that he sits, and listens, and waits, and watches to see what happens next! I would never have guessed that he had such an attention span, expecially for something which requires more imagination!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Harold and the Purple Crayon A very warm and creative children's story which empowers a child to understand that anything can be possible through will . . Harold has a chance to explore the world through purple drawings of figures and neccesities . . charming and one of my favourite as a child.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Harold and the Purple Crayon This childrens book grows with your child as his/her understanding matures. For a little one it is initially just a story about a little boy on a walk. As your childs understanding matures, the story takes on a whole new meaning. This book is still my two sons most favorite. I have ordered hardcover copies for them to have as adults so that we are assured that their children will be able to read all about Harold in years to come.
