Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful! When I first saw this book the first thing that popped into my head was "not another King Arthur book," however Philip Reeve surprised me. This was a truly wonderful and unique take on King Arthur. No longer is King Arthur portrayed as the hero, but as a rough, unpleasant man being controlled by Myrddin, often by using Gwynna. Gwynna is a rough, lovable character, and is developed wonderfully, as are the others. With a dash of romance as well, this book can do no wrong.
