What if a dinosaur catches the flu? Does he whimper and whine between each "At-choo"?Does he drop dirty tissues all over the floor?Does he fling his medicine out of the door? Just like kids, little dinosaurs hate being sick. And going to the doctor can be pretty scary. How DO dinosaurs get well soon? They drink lots of juice, and they get lots of rest; they''re good at the doctor''s, ''cause doctors know best. As in their previous book, Yolen and Teague capture children''s fears about being sick and put them to rest with playful read-aloud verse and wonderfully amusing pictures.

Reviews

Rated out of 5 by from Winner of a Parents' Choice Gold Award The same team of pros that last year brought us the antic How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight? have now brought us that rare thing: a sequel that is funnier and even better than their first dinosaur diversion. For starters, there is something intrinsically droll about these lumbering lummoxes ambling about, leaving a trail of crumpled tissues behind them. In due time even the youngest listener will begin to see similarities between the two species when they are under the weather: spitting pills in the sink; hiding from the doctor, etc. In the end, sanity prevails, and sleep, juice and tender-loving care bring peace and health to all. There could be no better gift for an ailing child. Teague and Yolen remain a winning team. For more details on the Parents' Choice Foundation, please visit www.parents-choice.org
