The classic activity book gets a piping hot makeover.
The art of weaving has been around for thousands of years, and we figure it will be around for at least a thousand more.
Which is why we're excited to revitalize the Klutz classic Potholders and Other Loopy Projects
. Now it's ready to
show a whole new generation the ins-and-outs of one of the world's most enduring crafts.
Packaged in a wrappable, stackable, boxy format, the book still comes with a generous supply of our custom-made, perfectly sized, bright and stretchy loops. (These loops are so awesome, they get fan mail. Really.) All eight original colors are here, plus a fresh new one: lime green. Altogether, it's enough loops to make five woven projects.
The book itself boasts all-new illustrations and mostly new photography. Crystal-clear, step-by-step instructions show how to make potholders, of course, but also a purse, a picture frame, a mighty cute chicken, and more. In addition to the loops, you get rainbow yarn, a yarn needle, a big crochet hook, and a bright red loom — all of it sturdy enough to keep kids weaving for another thousand years or so.
