Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Pop-Up Mice of Mr. Brice I first met this book in a "Picture Books for Children" english class at U of Winnipeg last week. A student had brought it in as an example of his favorite chilren's book - and with good reason! The whole class found the book delightful, full of humour, wonderfully illustrated and just a first class book. The professor went through it page by page at the front of the class as the response was so great he couldn't put it down nor wanted to. My three year old daughter now loves the book as her favourite; we both enjoy the mice popping up and I look forward to reading it with her. It helps to reinforce her knowledge of the ABCs, colours, and numbers. Just a great book and one I would recommend to all children and those young at heart!!

From Our Editors

"The dizzying array of things-to-do is impressive in this busy-box version of a book. Mr. Brice's mice have their names on 26 doors, labelled from Ann to Zeke, each one opening to reveal a different mouse. . . . The text is a bouncy rhyming catalog of what mice do; the pop-up parts are a great deal of fun".-- Bulletin, Center for Children's Books. Full-color illustrations
