Rated 4 out of 5 by from More 4 Display I got this over the summer of 2014 and, I like it! I like the new clone design and the new Stass Allie. But, the legs are not stiff like they look. They fall all over the place and fold in under the droids weight. Plus, the smaller spider droid is really had to pose properly as well. All in all, I give it a 8/10. MAKE THE LEGS STIFF NEXT TIME!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME SET!!!!!! Very good set!! Love the spider droid and dwarf spider droid!!! PROS are the figures and the spider droid and dwarf spider droid and the CONS are that the dwarf spider drip is not brown like in the movie and that it does not come with a hail fire droid but over all good set!!!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly designed I was very un happy with this set. There are a lot of things that are not very well thought out in this set. Neither of the two guns swivel and constantly fall of. They do not just get knocked off they just fall off while it is standing. That is if you can make it stand. The leg design makes it so unstable just walking into the room will make it fall down. It also only seems to be able to stand in awkward looking positions. The only reason I gave this set two stars was because It does look good when you finally do get it to stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool Addition This set was really good fun getting because I had always wanted this set and wanted to get the old one but then lego bought back the set in a new version so it was really exciting. The characters where Stass Allie, a clone trooper and two super battle droids. Another thing that might be counted as a character was the cool spider droid that I always wanted to get and it got bought back in a newer set. The set has nice detail on it and comes with pretty good characters. They bought back the old style of the clone trooper helmet. It also has a flick-fire missile at the top of the droid which was fun to play with. The droid can also have it's legs two ways facing in or facing out which I found really added to the fun of the set. All up this set was really fun and had a nice touch to it. See you all later

Rated 4 out of 5 by from In Between The legs on the homing spider are loose and wobbly, but its ok overall. I like the minifigs, and works great with my gunship.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cool, but not great My son bought this set yesterday and while it comes with some cool parts and minifigs, playing with the spider droid lacks...fun. It doesn't stand up that well, feet sliding away like a dog on ice. The bottom cannon also falls off. But still, it has unique pieces that we will use for some new creations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Seperatists Will Be Best Pleased.. Overall, what a brilliant set! Absolute fantastic in terms of build, quality, detail, characters and play experience. The Spider Droid model itself is a build in itself! In comparison to the last release, the size has been up-scaled, making it more realistic, and new parts and modifications make the model easier to manoeuvre and stand up. On the old model especially, the legs of the Spider Droid were 'fiddly' and 'spindly' resulting in the model falling down a lot. Also, the gun systems and main body on the old model was robust and frigid, and not easily played with. On the new design, the legs are more reinforced and longer to make the Spider Droid stand easier, and also the central body can move a full 360 degrees, and the turrets are more operational and detailed to give a better, more realistic reflection of the Spider Droid from the films! It truly is a great model, and to make purchasing this even better is the mini figures that accompany the set. A fantastic, brand-new, unique design of Jedi Master Stass Allie who is so fun to play with, and makes a great addition to any Jedi collection. Also, the spider droid acts as a plus to the set, as the model is a smart, easy build that is fun to play with. Alongside a new designed Clone Trooper (which in my opinion are ten times better than the design released in the clone wars) and two super battledroids; it is a must have set for any Lego Star Wars collector! A Good 9/10!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On the fields of Geonosis Homing spider droid! This set is a remake of the 2008 or 2009 version, and I can tell you that the overall design of the spider droid is much better, you can really see that lego has improved many elements, such as the rounded shape of spider droids body and very detailed red eye design. The spider droid has 4 moveable legs, which can be a little difficult to pose, until you master the tehnique. The upper part of the spider droid, where his eyes are, can move a full 360 degrees. The only bad thing about the droid is that his turrets can't move left to right, but it is not o big deal. Dwarf spider droid is a nice addition to the set, he is very cool, his leg design is much better than the one from 2008. Plus you will get a seethrough brick to keep the dwarf spider droid from touching the floor, if someone pushes him downwards. The minifigures in this set are awesome, Stass Allie is new and exclusive to this set, and she is one of the most detailed jedi minifigures lego has ever made. Clone trooper is exellent too, looks exactly like the ones from episode II. His gun is a bit too big, but you can always replace it with one of your own. Super battle droids, are nice, they are the main builder for your droid army. Overall this is a very nice set, you will be amazed when you assemble the spider droid (it is much larger then you would think). The minifigures fit the set perfectly, although, if we would get another battle droid - that would have been awesome. I would recommend this to anyone, exept smaller children, who might have a problem with those big legs. I hope this review helped :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10. Homing Spider Droid- Review Season 1 Finale This is the 10th review, and the final review in Season 1. Season 2 will begin with the Jabba's Sail Barge. Let me just begin by saying that this set is really detailed. I love especially the mini spider droid that comes with it. It's just that its so like in the video game. THE MINIFIGURES: -Stass Allie is cool. I like her hat-hood-thing piece and she's just so detailed. 9/10 -Clone Trooper: Same clone trooper as in the 9th Review, CATD. Same rile and everything. 7/10. -Battle Droid (2x): Standard Battle Droids. 7/10. TIP: Standard Minifigures always get a 7/10. It's just the standard number. MINI SPIDER DROID: -The Mini Spider Droid is cool. It's alright, but you can tell it was just added to the set for no reason. I mean, well, not NO reason, but just as an extra. 6/10. BIG SPIDER DROID: -I think this spider droid is epazing (epic+amazing). It, like I said, is just so cool, tons of playability, and so detailed. It even has that wiry effect on the bottom where the laser is. The red "eyes" are a fantastic touch, the only thing is that it is a bit hard to stand up (I don't know if it's just mine or what) but just sayin' it looks unstable. 10/10 fruit loops. Well, this was an epazing season, and see you at the Jabba's Sail Barge for Season 2. Holla!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressive set This set has it all, Great minifigures, an awesome spider droid and some great features and play possibility's. To start off, the minifigures are great, I love a set where you get a mix of republic and Seperatist forces. The new jedi, Stass Alie has a great design and I really like her headdress mould. I also like the fact we get a basic phase 1 clone and super battle droids, two components that are becoming all too rare these days. The build is pretty straight forward although it does include some repetition in the legs and the two spider droids look both proffessional and accurate to the movie, once constructed. All in all, this set comes with a thumbs up guarantee, everything is perfect, from price to pice ratio to the minifigures and the new prints and designs. I recommend this set to any lego collector, an awesome set for army builders. Enjoy and Happy Building :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Set After I built this set, the homing spider droid was bigger Then I thought it would be. It is awesome. The dwarf spider droid is cool too. This set has some pros and some cons. pros: awesome minifigs, big homing spider droid, fun build, good price cons: not enough minifigs, clone trooper's gun is too big

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Homing spider droid I just got this set and I really enjoy it.It is the first, set I bought myself.I do wish it was cheaper, like $25 not $30 . And I would like it better if the guns could move more. But otherwise it is a great set . I like how the spider droid looks . I also like the minifigures ,especially the Stass Allie and the Clone trooper. It could use some battle droids. But I like the little spider droid a lot. He looks really good ; even cute to me when he's sad. The set is especially fun when I make it play with some of my other battle sets to have a fight. You should buy it,especially if you have other cool sets. If you don't you'll be sorry. Pros: Clone little spider droid Stass Allie looks Cons: needs battle droids guns should be able to move more

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Take out those clankers! This is an awesome set for £29.99. The minifgures were really cool-especially the new Stass Allie. The minifigures are accurately chosen for this scene and I like the Phase 1 clones which are seen in various sets released this year and this particular clone carries a large rifle. Stass Allie is new and exclusive and her face has purple eyes and her Tholoth headdress is new and very detailed. The other minifigures are 2 super battle droids. The dwarf spider droid has 4 poseable legs as well as a turret at the front. The homing spider droid is largely made up of TECHNIC pieces and has poseable legs, moving lower turret and a flick fir missile at the very top. Both turrets have pipe pieces attached to them. The droids head also moves. Here is my conclusion: Minifigures: 10/10 Set: 9/10 Pros: Minifigures, droids, no stickers, TECHNIC elements Cons: Could have added one more clone or a battle droid commander. Overall it is a great set with awesome figures and droids

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two Words: Just Awsome The new Homing Spider Droid of LEGO Star Wars is a lot of fun. With the new minifigure Stass Alie with green lightsaber and a really preatty hear piece. On the Homing Spider set there is a crawling robot with movable legs and rotating head. The Homing Spider Droid has a rotating head with a new flick missile on the top, it has four movable legs but is preatty difficult to make the Homing Spider Droid stand up but thats not a problem . That was my review of the Homing Spider Droid set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great set I just got this set and is ok. There's only one con and that's the legs. Is hard to stand. The small spider droid is so cool but a bit hard to put the legs in the right place. The Jedi is good and the clone with the DC 15 rifle but a bit to big. The super battle droids are normal. Over all a great set
