Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall amazing set THIS SET IS AWESOME. I thought the idea of these chunky little star wars vehicles was strange. But the SECOND I finished building it. I especially like the very detailed TIE pilot figure. He comes with a standard pistol and has very accurate printing on the legs, torso, and helmet. Removing the black 2x2 brick inside the interceptor and just putting the pilots helmet inside sort of reminds me of angry birds star wars. There is only 1 flaw with this set: the flick missle rack. The missles are just hard to flick and they make the interceptor look weird. Other than that, this set is awesome. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's Something. I ended up getting this set as a gift and I quite like it. I don't buy Star Wars sets at all but I thought this was kinda cool. Decent figure, wing things and flick missiles never get old. The one big con is the PRICE. Again, it was a gift, but if I were to buy it where I live, it'd cost as much as a BIONICLE Protector! That's INSANE! If you have an enormous LEGO budget, go on ahead, but casual fans, steer clear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh This set is ok I guess... Not a lot to do. The tie-fighter pilot is cool and his helmet is nice, but its to pricy and there aren't any functions other then the flick missiles. If your looking for just a small set, don't buy this alone. Its better if you buy another set to go along with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Something for the MicroX-Wing to Blow Up Nice complement to the microX-Wing, hopefully we'll see a regular old Tie Fighter in the future. I wish Lego would've included the latest minifig head from the last version of the Tie Fighter (printed ninja hood vs. all flesh); looks a little strange to me with all that skin showing from the back. If you can't wait for a Tie, the Interceptor looks pretty good for a micro and makes a pretty good target.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Microfigter Ever!!! This set is awesome!!But before l get to the set itself,l'll start with the minifigure. The minifigure is great, I have the old one I got from another mini tie interceptor and this one, is better. I'll start with the helmet,it's pretty cool I like how all the printing on it is chrome, they didn't have that on the old one.now is the head, this head is new and is used on a lot of minifigures for example, Jango fett, Clone trooper, and commander Gree all have that head . So not very unineque.next the body,it has two oxygen tubes conected to the helmet and a panel with buttons on it, the body also has a chrome belt. Now to the legs, well there better then the old ones the old ones had noting they were just black these have gray lines.Next is the set itself,l'll start with the wings they are kind of like the old one but stronger and slightly modifid with new pieces and panels on the bottom. The one thing I like about both wings is that how good the bionoculars as guns. Now on to the windsheald, it's sligtly gold and is a little like the old one but bigger and with a new ring-shaped piece the old one was that trash can top piece and it was the same diesine. Now the cockpit it's pretty plain but it's shows how the windsheald buy the set to figure out how.Next up the flick missels there pretty normal they have a red top and a cool way of holding them.As i say in the title, best microfighter ever!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Interesting Tie Fighter! This is a nice little build and it somewhat resembles Darth Vader's Tie Advanced in the Death Star set 10188 I also like how the new Tie pilot can fit really well in the fighter also some of the new printing for the figure looks very cool as well since this is the only set we have a small Tie Interceptor I hope we will get a new larger version like the Tie Fighter from 2012 but we can only hope.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality Control Lego - we just purchased 3 Microfighter sets. 2 of the 3 sets were completely missing the mini figure. Being a loyal fan for 20+ years I have never seen the level of initial quality control this low. Tickets are submitted and now we have to wait a week+ to have our kids play with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TIE-ing up A Sith Interceptor This is an excellent purchase for anyone that missed the full sized one a couple of years ago, or who want to treat their child (or themselves!) to a reasonably priced Star Wars model. The beauty of this set is that I discovered it is really two models in one, as shown in my photo if you swap the wings around a bit (or even just fold them out flat) you get a pretty close Sith Fury Interceptor too! The beauty of the caricature styling of the microfighters scaling is that it fits in perfectly! The special Sith Trooper from the Army pack looks just as good astride his MIcrofighter Fury as his TIE Pilot counterpart! It can also be used as an escape pod for various Empire craft. Well Done Lego!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute little Tie Interceptor Another nice little Microfighter that rounds off the first release with another iconic Star Wars design made in the super deformed style. The build is easy and fun, and the minifigure a slight improvement over the previous release. The skin tone spoils the uniform slightly, I would personally have prefered a black head piece to complete the uniform, but the expression on the supplied face is one that could have a multitude of uses with bare headed figures. He looks pretty cross! I have a very slight niggle with the design, which incidentially I really like. It is a Twin Ion Engine fighter (geek alert!) and does not have the engine lights. Two transparent red/orange round studs could have performed this function very simply within the build, or a slight modification to the rear made it more "screen accurate"(!), but possibly a little less solid. Given the spare pieces in the build, the cost would have been negligible if they had been dropped. At any rate, the issue is very minor. I like the model a lot, and look forward to others in the series - they are great to play with children as these solid little models are not as fragile and precious as their larger counterparts!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Typical a microfighter SW set Some possible play-fun (=if another microfighter is bought with this one, of course...) and one minifigure. Average. High, usual, quality of LEGO, but poor ratio quality/price, again; as usual as for the other LEGO SW sets.
