Rated 5 out of 5 by from Iron Man vs. Mandarin This was a great set! Pros: -Iron Man: Love this figure! Great detail, cool armor. -Mandarin: Another great addition to any rogue's gallery. Cons: -Main build was good, but what's with the towering flamethrower? I think that could've been better. -Uh, weapons? The Mandarin has a gun? I gave him a sword and a Prince of Persia claw as well. Overall: A great set. Would totally recommend this to everybody for the minifigs. Go ahead and buy it!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Iron man vs mandarin This is a decent set because of mini figures. You get an amazing ironman. The mandarin is ok the other one is better though. the build is pathetic but there are a few nice dark green pieces. this veichle wasn't even in the movie. so just get this for mini figures and dark green pieces. I give this set a C

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little set I have no problem with this it's small and good value and the figures (especially iron man ) are fantastic and the vehicle is nice as it adds play value. Overall great set with an amazing figure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Take 'em to church, JARVIS. So, as I said in my review on the Extremis Seaport Battle, the figures are the best part of the set, and if LEGO had just forgotten both the sets and made a Boat Docks Battle with Killian, War Machine, Iron Patriot, Heartbreaker, Mark 42, and Mandarin, I would have thought it worth up to $50. But anyway, combine the two, and they're fun, just not movie accurate. MANDARIN'S FLAME CAR: So there is no point to this at all, since like I said, it ain't movie accurate. The car has room for the Mandarin to drive, and it has a rotating flame thrower machine up top with flick missiles. That's it. There is a lot more value in using it for extra pieces. MINIFIGURES: -Mandarin: A cheaper way to get this figure, who is actually a British actor anyway. Now, this Mandarin is different from the Malibu Mansion, because he has bare arms and no cape. Still the black beard and bad old terrorist face, though. Problem is, it's all fake, which is why we truly needed something like the non-physical set that I mentioned above instead of these two. -Iron Man Mark 18 (Heartbreaker): The big reason to get this. This is Tony's most advanced looking suit made in LEGO to date. It has more coloring on the mask and different chest piece printing, and it's all a really cool suit. Tony's head is inside, and it also has the four blue bricks to make it fly. OVERALL: I love the Heartbreaker suit, but there's not much more to this set. Don't feel too pressured to spend thirteen bucks just to boost up your Hall of Armor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Set Easy to build set. I like the moving arm of the car part. Also I think the bad guy looks so funny without the beard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fire! I love this set and a great price for the mini figures. Iron man (love the avengers face and the blue eyes and shest reactor) 10/10 Mandarin (great double face and i wish he had sleeves and pant decals) 8/10 And the truck love the main frame and its really bulky but i dont like the flame torch when I am using it but i thought I would hate the torch but I really liked it for display 9/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Iron Man vs The Mandarain; Ultimate Showdown The smallest of the Iron Man 3 sets, it is a great set to buy. The figs are quite unique. Iron Man ( Mark 17), aka the Heartbreaker has a specialy printed helmet that has new printing all over. The Mandarain has a new suit with no sleeves. Now the set. It is a small kart with a flame thrower and flick missiles attached to an arm. Now, this nehice has not in the movie nor does Iron Man wear the Heartbreaker, it makes a small cameo. Plus Stark doesnt fight Mandarain, in fact, Mandarain isnt in the final battle. But otherwise, this set is great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't think of a poorer set! This is a truly terrible set apart from the very nice iron man figure. The set has absolutely no relevance to the film, I have no idea what the vehicle is but it looks ridiculous and has no playable features. Over to the mini-figures the iron man figure is nice but unless you are a serious collector it's not worth buying the set for. The mandarin figure is just plain awful, nothing like the mandarin in the film or comics, it might as we'll be titled drunken bum instead of the mandarin! In summary I would not recommend buying this set unless you can pick it up for half the price or less. If you want a really nice Iron Man set, save your money and get the Tony Stark mansion set which looks great, has many features and a nice mandarin figure

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Even Close... Aside from the exclusive Mark 17 suit, this set is really useless. Not even closley related to IM3, and there is a better Mandarin fig in the Malibu Mansion set.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The Mandarin is on the loose When i got this set I had already seen the Iron Man 3 film and I thought what a lot of other people where thinking, but I still got this set for the Heart Breaker amour. It may not have sided up to the film, but I think it is a good set. all and all this is a good set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My review and my idea This set is great, but I customized mine with one piece. I replaced the spinning piece with a flat 4 by 4 (4x4), so the flick fire missiles are not so spinning. Anyway, this set is fantastic. You get 2 arch enemies based on the movie and more. Pros: Iron Man Heartbreaker armor (exclusive variation) Mandarin (exclusive variation) Cool mini buggy to attack Iron Man Gun Cons: None!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fun! I bought this for my 4 year old son who is Iron Man crazy! He loves it although the vehicle tends to get left alone while he plays with the figures. The vehicle is quite nice. It's small but not fiddly and easy to build. There's a rotating cannon on it which is a nice feature, except the rockets that you are supposed to flick to fire, don't really work that well. My son can't do it hit then again he is only 4 and I think the set is recommended for 6-12 yr olds so that's my fault. Lets be honest though. Who's going to make their 4 year old son wait 2 years to play with Iron Man Lego? Only the really big meanies! The iron man figure is very nicely printed on both front and back and the helmet, which you can flip up and down, works really well. The Mandarin figure is ok but doesn't look much like the Mandarin from Iron Man 3 and I can't help thinking Hagrid from Harry Potter whenever I see it! That's being picky though. My son loves this set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good...for a $10 set This is a great set. It is a smart build the way the flamethrower can move in any way and yet be small. Great for younger Iron Man fans!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome minifigs, weird vehicle This set is very interesting. The golf cart (or whatever it's called) is obviously not highlight of this set. It's the awesome minifigures, the heartbreaker armor is simply awesome. That and the mark 42 armor are the best. The mandarin is a pretty good minifig, but to make it more accurate they should have made his hair the ponytail hair. Also, this scene never happened in the movie, and they never fought. Pros Heartbreaker armor this version of the mandarin that is exclusive to this set cons cart overpriced overall, its a decent set. Get it for the minifigs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You'll Never See the Golf Cart Coming (REVIEW CONTAINS SLIGHT IRON MAN 3 SPOILER) LEGO has been doing great with the LEGO Marvel Superheroes line, and the Iron Man 3 sets are no exception. With that being said, however, this set isn't the best of the bunch. To start with the negatives, that golf cart, flame-thrower, deathmobile... thing. If you've seen Iron man 3, you know that the Mandarin (Trevor Slattery edition) never has a final showdown with Tony Stark. Nor does a flaming deathmobile come into play whatsoever. So the vehicle included in this set is confusing and kind of ugly. LEGO could have at least made a small section of the oil rig or an Extremis lab. The price of this set isn't too great either. You pay $13 and only get 91 pieces. I know it might be picky, but I like to get at least 100+ pieces when I pay $10 to $15 for a LEGO set. Now that the negatives are past, onto the positives. The first great thing about this set that is possibly the only reason to purchase it is the minifigures. The Mandarin has nice printing, but the true star is Tony Stark donning his beautiful Heartbreaker armor. The printing on the armor is amazing. This is by far one of my favorite minifigures I have ever owned. I could go on forever about how great this armor is, but I need to move on to the next positive. This set is great when it comes to parts. The slicked-back hair of the Mandarin, the tube piece, etc. The pieces in this set are great and a good reason to purchase this set. PROS: >Heartbreaker armor is amazing >Great pieces >It's LEGO and Iron Man CONS: >Flamemobile of Doom (I seriously don't know a good name for this) >Price is ok, but paying $13 for 91 pieces isn't very nice >Seriously, what is that vehicle?!?! OVERALL: For any LEGO Iron Man fan, this is a musthave. For the average person, however, this set may be easily passed by due to the price. This set is still a fun little starter set and the Heartbreaker armor and the pieces that this set has are the reasons to pick this set up next time you're at the store. I give this set a 4/5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Good Set! This set is not bad for a couple of reasons first is the new Iron Man Suit AKA the Heartbreaker Armor and I have to say this Iron Man is alot better than the past Iron Man Figures not including the new War Machine figure I really like the blue eyes and the blue core reactor the Mandrain is not bad compaired to the other one in the Mailbu Mansion set and his flame buggy is pretty cool and I think it is cool that the Mandrain has a gun he carries in case Tony Stark blows up the buggy so he can maybe have a fighting chance.Overall I think this is a good set for two reasons 1 if your looking for a cheap way to get a Lego Iron Man figure I would get this set and 2 this is a cheap way to get a good Super Hero set if you don't have the money for the other Super or Dc Hero sets. Thank you Lego.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mandarin vs Iron Man Welcome to my review of 76008 Mandarin vs Iron Man ultimate battle. I had been wanting to complete my collection of IM3 sets, and this one looked pretty good, thus, I bought it. The figures are very good, both sporting exclusive variants. And yes - this scene didn't really happen, but remember these set are "loosely based off" the movie. I am a fan of the movie, so I won't go into detail about the characters in this, either. The buggy is pretty cute, and with the rotating flame-thrower, it is armed well. Overall, I rate this set, very highly. -CM1

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AFOL Well, this is hard to rate. On one hand it is brilliant on the other it is...weird. The minifigs are brilliant and the reason you NEED to get this set. The little car thingy, is....weird, looks really bad, BUT it has great bits with it so good for MOCs, get a couple and could almost build your own Batman Tumbler. All in all, get it for the minifigs!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I don't understand this set. I really don't. Nothing like this happened in the movie. Iron Man never fought with this guy, and this guy is NOT the mandarine. I'm so confused. Haven't you see the movie before designing sets? The only thing that saves this set is the nice new suit, but the whole set is so inaccurate it almost hurts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty good this is a good set. it comes with two minifigs wich are the best out of the iron man three.it is very fun and easy to build. see you next time!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Iron Man vs. The Mandarin Wow! I cannot believe all the negative reviews this set is getting! I think It's awesome! The price to piece ratio isn't great, but this is much better than most 12.99 dollar sets. IRON MAN MARK 15 (HEARTBREAKER) is a spectacular mini fig! He's my second favorite Iron Man suit, the Mark 7 armor being my favorite. The blue eyes, and silver on the mask look awesome! The blue Arc Reactor is awesome too, and looks great with the gold parts. Love the leg and back printing too. Tony's face is the same as in the Avengers sets, a smiling, and angry face, and I like it a lot more than the one used in the other Iron Man 3 sets. 10/10 THE MANDARIN looks great too. Unfortunately, this version does not closely resemble his look in the movie or comics. His vest is nice, good color green, and the bullet shells are a nice feature. His light green pants are good, but don't quit match the vest. His gun is a standard ADU gun, and while these guns have become quite popular, it looks a bit to sic-fi for the Mandarin. 7/10 THE FLAME THROWING BUGGY is so cool! Why do people hate it so much! The silver tube, and flame throwing bit is great, and is nicely constructed. The buggy has nice colors, green, grey, black, and yellow look good, and the yellow wheals compliment the buggy nicely. The flame thrower looks awesome with the buggy, and has great play value. All in all a great set. It should have been 9.99, but it's better than most 12.99 sets. I still have to question how the Mandarin even stands a chance against Iron Man, considering he doesn't have his ring like in the comics. I just pretend the Mandarin does have his rings like in the comics, and problem solved!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Iron Man vs. The Mandarin and his Lawnmower SPOILER ALERT! Just want to say that there could be some spoilers in my review, so if you don't want to know very much about the movie until you see it, you have been warned. Well, lets move on to the review. You get 2 great minifigs and a buggy with a flamethrower on the top. MINIFIGS: Iron Man - This could be the most detailed Iron Man minifigure we've ever gotten, which is ironic that it comes in such a small set. Unlike the mark 42 suit, this resembles the Heartbreaker suit almost perfectly, the only thing being the tubes across his helmet that were not featured, but not a big deal. I also might have preferred maybe a chest piece for the repulster, as it does stick out quite a bit in the actual Heartbreaker suit. I absolutely love that the repulster and eyes are in blue, it really makes the figure stand out. The head underneath is the same one from the Avengers sets. It's quite amazing to see that Lego has made it this far in terms of detail, I remember when it was rare to see back printing! The Mandarin - This is a different variant than in the Mansion set. Even though I prefer that one more, it is nice to see a different variant. This one has no leg printing, and a torso that is very awesome and useful for other figures. Even though it looks cool, the beard and hair are not that accurate. Lego should have molded the beard that was introduced on the fisherman minifig from series 3 in black. For the hair, the sumo wrestler's hair, also introduced in series 3. Also included is a sci-fi pistol for some weird reason. BUGGY: The buggy is a pretty decent build, but nothing to get overly excited about. It features the color scheme that we see on the helicopter and the speedboat; dark green, yellow, and black. The is a clip on the side for his gun and a rotating flamethrower. On the flamethrower are two flick-fire-missiles. The back has two red lights on it. Needless to say, The Mandarin can fit in the drivers area. VERDICT: Over all, this is a pretty cool set with some playability. The buggy is ok, it's better than anything you'd get in a Star Wars battle pack. The Heartbreaker suit could be my favorite minifigure in the whole Iron Man 3 line. It's nice to see a different variant of The Mandarin. The price is pretty much what you'd expect to pay for this. One other thing I should say is that the silver pipe on the flamethrower does not come in the bags, so before you say to Lego that the piece is missing, check the bottom of the box. Also, if you get all 3 sets, the playability of each one gets better, because you can make more of a story. This set gets an 8/10 and you should go buy it. Bye!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great minfigs, nothing else As many of you have noticed for the pictures this set is really small and with pratically no features, however it contains 2 great minifigs: - Iron Man Mark 17 (Heartbreaker Armor): This armor is just great and really well detailed, with new blue arc reactor and eyes. As exclusive to this set will repay the price to the most appassionate of Marvel Avengers theme - Mandarin (without robes): this minifig is pretty good with really well detailed torso and face. The only gaps are the hair style and the beard, completelly different from both film and comic variants - Mandarin Armored car: as no one will buy this set for this, I'll speak clearly: this car is really awful and useless to play. In conclusion this set worth only if you are a true appassionate of Marvel Avengers theme, because this set is only about the new variant of the Iron Man armor. If you are going to buy this to have fun in building or playing, do not buy it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ultimate Showdown I really like this set but the other 2 are brilliant aswell. pros: -all exclusive minifiguers -mark XVII ( "heartbreaker" Artillery level rt suit.) -no stickers -the shape (i like how all the bricks fit and thheres hardly any visable studs) cons: pistol shape all together its a good set for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mandarin vs Iron Man This pains me to say this but I did not like this set very much. I am a Mandarin fan and appreciate his figure in this set. Iron Man is just average( I now have 6 Iron Man figures! ). The picture on the box makes the set look simple and small. The vehicle on the box should be brandishing its menacing flame thrower and not just sitting there like a duck! Overall teh set is almost below average, it is a small set meant for collectors. Sadly, the price almost turned me away(At least Iron Man should have a small vehicle or something). I am looking forward to the next wave of sets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picture doesn't do it justice - For $12.99 USD this set is a steal, as the unique "Heart-breaker" armor variant for Iron-Man comes with very good printing, and the cool figure of the Mandarin (despite the overdone beard) alone make it worth the price of admission. The picture of the vehicle might give one pause as it looks rather odd and frankly a little weird in it, but once assembled it is much cooler to see in person and suddenly comes alive with the figures and actually makes one look forward to whatever actually shows up in the movie that it represents. Considering the Mandarin and Iron-Man variants, plus a rather cool vehicle with some very useful parts for fans, this set is definitely one to pick up!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but not ultimate! this set is overall cheap and is a great addition to the iron man 3 collection but theres one problem which is "the ultimate showdown". This set is not ultimate but its nice. So the ultimate should have been cut out . Anyway on to the minifigures; Heart Breaker Iron man : one of the best iron man suits, great detail and looks awesome. The mandarin : nice to have different variety of him as in the mansion attack he has robes on. Look pretty good and like a villain. all the figures are exclusive which is great. the buggy is ok, looks better once built, i like the design but maybe a bit more detail and bigger however you cant complain due to the price. The flick fires are good and overall its a nice little set to have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Set :) This set just arrived in the post so i now have all 3 of the sets and i must say this set is incredible obviously the other 2 sets have more in them and are bigger but thats because there more expensive this set is great for £11.99 and the buggie is alot bigger then it looks the heartbreaker iron man armour is more detailed and looks more greater then the armour in the other 2 sets the mandarin is also great but not as good as the robed one in the malibu mansion. the set is great for people who want to start with superheroe sets or who dont have alot of money because you get iron man and the main villain the mandarin so both main characters of the film thankyou for such great iron man 3 sets lego you impressed me last year with the avengers and have impressed me again will deffinatly buy more superhero sets when available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is amazing but... I love this new heartbreaker suit from the Iron Man 3 film! It does spoil the upcoming movie a bit but I really like getting the mandarin too! Although I don't like the vehicle it looks goofy and it should have been just a regular car or a part of a building or a piece of a building. But this set is a must have only because of the minifigures. While I got mines weridly printed helmet but still am going to get another one of these cause there amazing!!!
