Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game for kids who love Dinosaurs My 4 and 6 year old love this game. My 6 year old has had it since she was 4 and has played it repeatedly. I can not tell you how many times she has completed this game. The mini games are easy enough for them and they love when they get to dig for the dinosaur bones and finally assemble the skeleton. The only downfall is that there are only 6 levels. I wish there was an expansion pack or a Digging For Dinosaurs 2.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good product, but.... My four year old has just become interested in dinosaurs and after reading the review thought this would be a good choice. This game did his attention for a while, but I feel like Leap Frog missed an opportunity. Once the museum is filled with dinosaur skeletons the game starts again at zero. A new set of skeletons could have been added to create a new level. Once my son filled the museum a couple of times, he started looking for other challenges and there are no new "rewards" for reaching new ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great game for dinosaur lovers This is an exciting game for my 4 year old. He plays it a few times a month. After you complete a mission, you get to dig for dinosaurs, which is the best part. Once you complete enough missions and find enough bones, you can put them together to build a dinosaur skeleton and put it in the museum. Some of the games my son needs help with, like going through the maze, but if no one is available to help him, he can just do a different mission to complete other tasks to dig for dinosaurs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No Full Screen... who knows why? Why this game is not full screen like all the other games just baffles me... You think Leapfrog would be able to pay attention to things like that, after all these FAILS would you still trust them with the education of your children?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very fun and educational! I love at my six year old son can win a bone-dig by doing level 1 by winning 10 points each time. My 8 year old daughter can win a bone dig by doing level 3 and getting 25 points each time on that level. 100 points total wins the bone-dig. If u dig up all the bones of a dinosaur, you put the bones together and the museum now has an additional dinosaur for their exhibit. The games are fun and learning about omnivores and carnivores and herbivores is great. My kids learned that we are omnivores. Playing a carnivore dinosaur, you only feed him other animals. With the herbivore, you avoid other animals and you eat all the plants you can. Just try the game. It's fun. Little kids might need help so look over their shoulder until they get the hang of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ben is 6 years old. He says this is one of his favorite games. He learns a lot from it, the pictures are good, and it keeps him occupied for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My daughters favorite game so far! Out of all 4 games I bought. This is her absolute favorite. I think she likes it because it is not a challenging as the other games. As long as she is learning I don't mind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 10 months later and they still play regularly..... My 6 year old and 4 year old got this game for christmas 2011. Ten months ago they figured out how to play very easily and my youngest is still trying to master the levels. I think my oldest is moving on because he is not playing it nearly as much. Most of the leappad games are way too easy for him, he is super smart reading 200 page chapter books in 1st grade. But this game has lots of cute mini games where you earn for the honor of digging for fossils and collecting all the skeletons for the museum. My kids love "earning" stuff so this works well to their personality! Would love an expansion pack for this one too some day. I would buy it for my boys!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from he won't let me play! My 4 year old son loves to play this game sometimes. Problem is, I only get to play when he gets stuck! I can't get past the pterydactyl to get the triceratops home to his family. Dang! A kid game has me perplexed! I love dinosaurs and this is another way to share this fun with my kids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for kids that love dinosaurs! My 3 year old daughter loves dinosaurs. We have a dinosaur museum in the town that I grew up in, so we took our daughter there and she just fell in love with. When we got back I bought her this game and she thinks it's the next best thing to chocolate. She LOVES going on dinosaur digs. She asks for this game first thing in the morning every day!
