Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick but fun The Brandenburg gate holds special significance to me and my wife (both onetime residents of Germany), so I was very happy to have this set. It's immediately recognizable as what it is, which is nice. That said, the colors and uniform nature of the building made it a bit of a repetitive build. Overall I'd say this is a good conversation/display piece but won't constitute a particularly thrilling or creative two hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Brandenburg Gate! Continuing with my collection of Lego Architecture Models, this is model number 7 in my growing numbers of buildings! Brandenburg Gate was easier than some of the previous models, however, clever use of many tiny pieces were hard on the ageing fingers! Loved the way it went together, taking just under an hour in between 'slurps' of strong coffee! As usual, Lego have produced a stunning booklet on the history of the Brandenburg gate as well as comprehensive build instructions. All in the usual glossy box. Have to say, Lego and their designers come up with yet another fantastic product. Absolutely loving the Architecture range! Roll on to my next project, The Burj Khalifa.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Replica After coming back from a Europe trip and witnessing the amazing brandenburg gate, I had to purchase this architecture series. It is quite an intricate piece, as there a lot of small parts that make up the features. It definitely does resemble the real thing and I was very impressed with the detailing. Definitely recommend for those who enjoy life like lego and the landmark series

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better It 's definitely a piece that could not miss in my collection, it is an important part of history. But building it brings out the absolute lack of details. Up to a total disappointment as it was reproduced the Quadriga, an important and characteristic part of the Brandenburg Gate. I'm really sorry, because I wanted so much this LEGO. I hope that in the future You will achieve a larger and more detailed model of the Brandenburg Gate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If it is so tiny, is it "gate" or "door"? I can not really complain about this set: it has the price-brick ratio, the size (sometimes it matters, even more with the result of a big monument given the combination of mostly tiny pieces) and the appearance it needs to be an excellent choice. Since most of the sets are based on the "minimalism" rule, I must say that the horses on the top are brilliantly interpreted by those megaphone-like bricks. Even some minifigures can be put on or in the set, so it looks like they are in one of those amusement parks in which there are little replicas of some given buildings. Definitely, a must-have for the ones who like enjoying a fine piece of art/work in their desks, shelfs...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good model I got this set for Christmas, after wanting it for months.I have wanted it because I love Germany, and having been to Berlin intensified my love for this country. So when I found out about this set, I asked to get it for Christmas, and Father Christmas granted my wish. The set I got was a good one, very good in fact. And now I will talk about the good bits, bad bits and improvements that can be made. The set is large, you get a good amount for the money you spend. It looks a lot like The Brandenburg Gate (well it should, seeing how it's a model of the gate) and the LEGO team have done good replicating it's immense beauty. The brick colours are right and the two signs naming the gate in English and German (both languages I speak) is a charming bonus. there are few bad points to talk about, but the one I feel is worth mentioning is a nitpick, but otherwise something to mention. The green tiles were a challenge to put on, even with rather thin fingers and short nails. It wasn't specifically the amount of green tiles, but just the awkwardness of putting them on.Though I forgive this, because I know if they didn't have the tiles then it wouldn't look authentic, and it is kind of rewarding to look at when you've finally finished putting the tiles on. I have no real improvements for the mode, it's a good quality model which looks accurate to the real Brandenburg gate.I cannot really suggest improvements apart from maybe simpler instructions. I'd say go into the finer details of the gate, but that would have to be either as sculpted pieces (which would make the set more expensive with it's one off pieces) or annoying stickers. But I don't care, for what I got, I got a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Model This model is simple and detailed. I completed it in 20 minutes. A great representation of the Gate. Now, why would there be a "girls" tag?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice to have! I enjoyed building this but it's not as fun as other sets, I had to have this as I adore Berlin and the gate holds a particular fond memory for me. I would recommend it to someone like myself who appreciates what it is, not really for younger lego fans as the building process wasn't too exciting.. but i love the end product! x

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Build I liked the simplistic design and build and it is a cute set looking at it. I also like how they imitated the chariot design on top. There are no bad sides to this product but if you are in to playing with sets do not buy! But if you are like me and like to display them then this is the set for you. Overall very good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brandenburg Gate This is a really interesting LEGO set, and I really like it, I got it from some of my family that lived in Germany, and it looks a whole lot like the real Brandenburg Gate! I recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice I was delighted to discover this nice little set while shoping on-line. Again, Mr. Tucker has created a splendid interpretation of a landmark structure. However, I somewhat agree with a previous review regarding the Quadriga. Perhaps providing the parts in the same green as the roof tiles would have solved the issue. I hope to see more European models in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Model I'm more of a fan of the modular sets but when my lego catalog came in the mail yesterday and I saw this set I knew I had to own it. I hopped on the El and went to the Watertower Store to pick this baby up. It was a very easy build and I love the interpretation of the chariot and horses above the monument. The color of the tiles also make this set even more appealing. For the small scale the detail here is incredible and thats where I feel this set really does shine. Great Design and as the say in Germany, viel Spaß!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Build I love lego architecture and i thought that this model would make a great piece to my collection. I was right. It was an easy built but took a little more time than i thought it would. It is very detailed and would recommend it to any lego fan i know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marvellous !!! Architectural Model Pros: 1 - This Replica of the BradenBurg Gate is simply marvellous, Comes second best after the Lego Falling waters set. 2 - The green roof bricks are unique and the color brings out the best detail of the actual gate. Cons: 1 - I just wish TLC would have created a custom chariot sculpture for the Top of the Gate, that would be the perfect detail to compliment this creation. 2 - The green roof tiles seem staggered when seen closely inserting another filler plate below gives a better visual outlook

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exquisite / Ausgezeichnet Wow. As the son of a native Berliner and an American soldier stationed in Berlin during the building of The Wall, I've been waiting for this one, and it does not disappoint. The detail is amazing for its scale.
