Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value for money I found this set to have new Lego elements such as the drill. It uses Lego gear functions to make the drill spin when Earth Driller moves. At only about twenty dollars, the set gives excellent value for money. I would list this set at one of the best ones I have purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from coolest drill ever this product is awesome! cole in his kx robe is awesome. it looks much better with a silver pack though. the swords man is cool. i like the way the drill moves when you push the drill car. it could have been a little more like the one in the tv show. if you by two you can modifiey it { like i did} to hold all the ninja and the kia fire bot. still it is awesome just the way it is. the only con though is that you can see two orange studs under the earth on the side of car. hope you have fun with it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cool Set with a few setbacks This is a good set to buy. It's got a cool function where when you turn the front wheels the drill spins. However, there is a lot of extra, unused space in back. So- Pros: Drill spinning function Cole and swordsman figures Earth elemental blade Cons: Unused space in back Stickers The pros overrule the cons!! And so

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super AWESOME Set I got this set originally so I could replace my Cole ZX minifigure. However this set is super fun. Apparently, Cole's ZX armor can fit. The Stone Warrior is cool too. The one in Kai's Fire Mech I called "Squirt". The one in this set I call "Bigger Squirt". The Earth sword is excellent. This set only took me about 20-30 minutes to build, despite the fact it was a bit hard. The stickers are a pain and the drill feature took me a few minutes to build. All in all, awesome set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cole's earth Driller this is an over all great set. the drill has an intricate series of gears that make it a double rotating planetary drill. this set does contain a lot of stickers, so be warned. the blades in the back, well I just don't know what to do with them. too bad lego didn't make it so that kia's fire mech fit back there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value! This set is a great value! We finally have Cole! This set comes with Cole, a stone warrior, and Cole's cool drill car. The car is a little complicated to build for a little kid, but it's sturdy and play-worthy. My five-year old has crashed it several times and it's still together. That's saying something! Kudo's to the designer/engineer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cool, but too plain This set is nice, but it's a little simple. The figs are good though. And the elemental earth blade is AWESOME! The minifigures: - Cole's earth robes fit great with him and his elemental earth blade - The medium stone warrior looks cool enough with his sword and hat The build: Fun build, a lot of different building techniques used. The front is very light and empty even though it is good covered when the driller is built. One thing that's weird is that the color palette is mixed up with very many different strange colors: orange, brownish green, red, yellow, brown, gold, white, just to mention a few. Why LEGO did that I can't really understand, but luckily many of these aren't showing when the vehicle is done and covered up. The design: The driller looks really cool, it got heavy tires in the back, and small ones in the front, making it tip forward a bit. The colors fit good together, with black, brown, gold and some of that brownish green color that Cole really digs. (Heh, get that? "digs"? Like he's "digging"? Underground? hehe... no? Bad pun :/ ). One bad thing is that the cockpit only has space for one fig, even though the show had the whole ninja gang sit in there at the same time. Fortunately, There's a lot of open space in the back of the car where you can put some figs. (another small con is that the thruster in the back looks lame, it's just a transparent brick) The functions: The only real function in this set, (though a good one) is the spinning driller. It start's spinning when you drive the driller forward on the ground. And the drill parts spin in opposite directions, which looks really cool! But as said, it is the only function. (well, the cockpit opens, but not really a function?) Could have been some more in there. Summary: Pros: - Rad design - Great figs - Sweet elemental earth blade - Awesome drilling function - Room in the back for figs Cons: - Too many unequal colors (feels like the palette was made by a baby) - A little unfinished in the back - Not enough room in cockpit - Only one function This set is great, but a little lacking. Still cool to have. TheMagneth out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This set is awesome! the pieces went together well, and it is super sturdy. the drill function is awesome, and the minifigures are really cool. if i were to 'upgrade' this set, i would add more golden elements and make the shape more interesting. also i would make the earth sword neon green instead of the darker green color and add some kind of missiles. last but not least, i think the set could include a spinner for each character just for the fun of it. thanks for reading this. i hope it was helpful. -chocodog2007

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cole's Earth Driller I picked up this set with average anticipation. I knew that it wouldn't meet every expectation, but I also knew that I had to have Kimono Cole. I will write this review carefully, because I still have mixed thoughts about it. I'll begin with the minifigures. Cole is cooler than ever. His color scheme is beautiful. The metallic silver emblems and buckles also shine in this new suit. On his back he has his elemental symbol, surrounded by a metallic silver ring. If you decide to give him shoulder pauldrons (not included in set), you can still see his symbol, which I think is convenient. Personally, I think the kimono looks better without them, but never mind that. Not much to say about the Stone Warrior, except he is also really cool. Now, onto the Driller. The front of it, the part with the drill, is wonderfully designed. The drill spins when you turn the two front wheels, and LEGO gave those wheels rubber tires, so as to grip hard surfaces, allowing the drill to spin exceptionally on carpet or tile. A note about the drill, I added a golden min-driller piece (the piece used for the horn in the Kingdom's horse helmet deal. Also used in Chokun's weapon in the 9591 Weapon Pack), and I think that adds more to it's look of capability. Moving to the inside of the Driller. I am glad that LEGO designed the cockpit so roomy, because I modified it so it could fit two minifigures (not as many in the movie, but still nice for Jay to have a decent mode of transportation). I took out the black sloped-backrest piece, leveled the floor, than added a 1x4 where the slope used to support the back wall. That allows a 2x5 stud seating space, which is cramped but convenient. Now, to the big letdown, the back of the Drill. I honestly don't know why the back wheels seem so disconnected from the rest of the vehicle. The wheels jut off the back of the vehicle, attached to 1x10's with holes in them. It is sturdy enough, but the back wheels are just kind of out there. If the cockpit would have continued to stretch to the back of the vehicle, then it could have fit more minifigures, it could have incorporated the back wheels more efficiently, and it would've looked more complete, in my view. A few miscellaneous notes about the set: 1: It comes with an extra black katana (YES!) 2: As the picture I included illustrates, behind the rock-like pieces on the sides, you have a orange 1x2 and a white stude combo....CLEARLY VISIBLE FROM THE BACK VIEW! When I see that, I stop thinking Earth Driller and I start thinking Orange Creme. Orange and white has nothing to do with the earth color scheme LEGO had going. 3. Cole's sword is fantastic. Trans-green with a hint of dark tan in the center. Totally love it. I really do like this set, I just see a few places where it could've been better. It has many great gold pieces, and gold makes people happy! So, I see the front (E.G. the amazing gold drill), and I'm thrilled! But then I move onto the back, and I have thoughts of modifying it some more....which I think I'd better go do before those good ideas leave me!!! God bless Takeshi7013

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stone Warrior on the Attack! When I picked up this set, I was very excited to build the Earth Driller that was in the Ninjago Show. I have to say, this set really is worthwhile. The Driller itself is packed with nice details, such as the rock pieces on the sides of it. The new minifigures are some of the most detailed I have ever seen. Cole KX blew me away, with his awesome uniform and ninja mask. The Stone Warriors are very nice as well, due to their menacing stare and black swords. My only cons with this set are that the Driller cannot fit as many minifigs as I had hoped, and that it did not come with more Stone Soldiers or Scouts. Long live Ninjago!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coles earth driller! Ok. I should mention i am not a massive Ninjago fan. When it first came out 2 years ago i thought. What a lump of rubbish and never bought a set. Now i am a changed man. This was my first ever NInjago investment and it is really good. The drill is great in GOLD! Gold pieces cool! This set is a bit similar to the thunder driller from the power miner series (one of the best themes to date) The figs are great and i think i have said it all. All in all this set is great so BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cole's Driller I think this set is fairly easy to build. The characters are cool. I like the elemental blade. The drill itself looks pretty cool. It isn't to big but not too small. Overall I think it would be a good set.
